Rockstar’s open-world crime thriller LA Noire comes to PS4 in November

Features a range of technical enhancements and all expansion content

Today, we’re proud to announce that a new version of the blockbuster detective thriller L.A. Noire, is scheduled to release on 14th November 2017 for PlayStation 4.

Set against the seedy and violent underbelly of 1940s Los Angeles, L.A. Noire is the story of decorated veteran and newly minted detective Cole Phelps as he investigates an escalating series of cases inspired by real-world crimes. Each successfully solved case brings Phelps greater success, but also brings him closer to the dark criminal heart of post-war L.A.

L.A. Noire for PlayStation 4 delivers the complete original game and all additional downloadable content with a range of technical enhancements for greater visual fidelity and authenticity, including enhanced lighting and clouds, high resolution textures and more. Plays natively in 1080p for the PlayStation 4 console, and stunning 4K for PlayStation 4 Pro, this version captures the grit and grime of the City of Angels like never before.

Retail?

Never finished it the first time around, maybe this time – if the price is right.

It’s definitely worth finishing the story :)

Thank you! I love you!

What about the VR Case files for PlayStation VR?

Don’t be that guy and make it for PC elitist race only.

60 or 30 fps? What about PSVR?

I would also like to know if it’s 1080p60 or 1080p30 but I’m more interested in the VR which I didn’t know about

Great game, I got every trophy for main game and dlc the 1st time around. Not sure it’s got replay value but I hope it does well and earns a sequel.

Fantastic news. I kinda rushed the game when it was on PS3 due to the disk drive making allot of noise moving the lens backwards and forwards due to there being no installation. So I wanted to get it over with to limit any major wear and tear.

Hopefully this time since I can’t remember much if anything about the missions means i can take my time with it.

To anyone who never played it and enjoys crime scene games I really recommend it

Great game, I really enjoyed playing the original. Not sure yet if I’d revisit it, that would probably depend on the price. I’d also like to know if there’s a photo mode?

Cheers

GTA 4 remastered next please

In my top 5 games of last gen. Having said that I completed it along with all the DLC when it was released so I won’t be revisiting it just yet. If anyone missed it first time around though I can’t reccomend it enough.

That game was absolutely brilliant. Made a lasting impression on me.

I think I got a platinum on this game on my old account.

Looking forward to replaying this!

I’m glad to see the return of L.A. Noire, and hopefully this could be the catalyst for a new entry in the series.

I’d love to explore some of these crime scenes in virtual reality (this game is a perfect fit for that technology). Echoing the point others have already made; if this were compatible with PSVR it would be the final push needed for me to invest in the headset.

This news also has me excited about the prospect of a possible GTA IV remaster.

Thanks R*!

I like this game, still play it on PS3.

In fact I was just watching some clips of the game on YouTube only last night. This is pleasant news.

I will only get this agian if retail vision not digital . I don’t mind secret of mania digital only but this no .

Really want remaster of RDR as well. Or GTA hd collection .

Want sequel to this game.

Great game. Will double dip 100%. Been looking forward to this since the rumours first started.

Just searched Amazon to pre-order. Found nothing. I hope this isn’t a digital only title. If so i’m out.

Fickle ;)

I get your point, but I’m old and prefer to see something physical on my games shelf.

VR please 👍

I won’t buy it and play it again, I did 100% it with all of the DLC.

I recommend that people buy LA Noire, I felt that the experience was unique and captivating.

Please fix the price of Max Payne 3 on the NZ PS Store. It’s twice the price of the rest of the EU store and never gets included in sales. It is listed under a different product code, so gets overlooked.

The story of one detective, his amazing sketching skills and a world full of slightly creepy faces!

VR mode?

Whoever is asking for re-releases needs to stop.

So this is a port of the PC port, but locked to 30 fps.

I’ll keep playing my PS3 SSD version, thanks.

best game ever also the 40s were simpler times

I’ve jumped this release on ps3 dunno why, but this time I’m in all the way.

So Agent has definitely been cancelled then? :(

I’ve already played and finished this on the PS3 and I reckon this will be a full priced release instead of the normal remastered £25-£30 price point.
