Check out Rockstar’s new Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer

New details emerge of Rockstar’s upcoming outlaw epic

Any day that Rockstar Games issues a new trailer is a special day. And today, we’ve got the all-new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2, which was captured on PlayStation 4. Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PS4 this Spring.

Here are the latest details, straight from Rockstar:

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive.

A friendly reminder that PlayStation owners will get additional benefits for Red Dead Redemption 2, including first access to select online content. We’ll have more specifics to share there in the months ahead.

“Additional benefits” no doubt because the PS4 version will be the weaker version graphically compared to the Xbox One X and it’s the way to sweeten the deal? Definitely getting it for my Xbox.

So what? PS3 was weaker and more expensive than Xbox 360 and still won the market, this is not the place to make your kind of comments.

Great trailer, to bad the main character changed from the one first Red Dead Redemption.

The PS4 version will still be the version most people will be playing though. 60+ million PS4s are already out there.

You are aware that this is a PS blog aren’t you? Hardly seems necessary to bring up a rival system that has not been released yet.

Well it looks nice but then so did the first one and I finished that game in a few evenings but didn’t actually have any fun with it at all. I even remember thinking “was that it?” and only finished it to sell it on quickly after having bought it on release day so it was still worth monies. Didn’t really care for GTA’s other than messing around in multiplayer. Yet I love Rockstar’s The Warriors and Canis Canem Edit (clearly since I bought them on PS2, PS3 and PS4 with The Warriors also purchased on PSP both on UMD and digitally).

Not sure why but i’m not feeling any hype for this at all so far.I’ll buy it day one but there’s no sense of “i can’t wait for this” you usually feel for Rockstar games but maybe that will come closer to release. GTA 5, as good as it was didn’t feel like that typical innovative Rockstar game that was comfortably a few levels above anything else on the market, others have caught up since and arguably overtaken them, so they can’t just have it play similar to Red Dead Redemption but bigger and better graphics.

Not to sure what to make of it, im sure it will be good as in my opinion all Rockstar games are but I wouldn’t say the trailer blew me away tbh.

It looks good, I think I would be more excited about it if I played the first game but still, it looks good
