See Supermassive Games’ PlayLink thriller Hidden Agenda in action with exclusive video

Until Dawn developer showcases Story and Competitive modes of its new multiplayer crime thriller, out 22nd November

I’m Will Doyle, game director for Supermassive GamesHidden Agenda. I’m delighted to give you a sneak peak of our new crime thriller, which releases on 22nd November. Hidden Agenda blends the best of games and movies, allowing up to six players to play through a cinematic, interactive story.

We’ve taken inspiration from neo-noir thrillers such as True Detective and Se7en to craft a tale of betrayal and revenge, set in a rainy, rundown city. You play Detective Becky Marney and District Attorney Felicity Graves as they hunt down the “Trapper”: a serial killer who rigs his victims with explosives to murder the responding officers.

Hidden Agenda

As part of the PS4 PlayLink initiative, Hidden Agenda is designed for use with phones or tablets instead of DualShock controllers. This makes the game accessible to friends who are new to gaming, and allows us to award secret information and objectives to individual players. Hidden Agenda is great fun to play on your own, but you’ll get a very different experience if you play it with friends.

The below video gives you an overview of the game’s two modes: Story and Competitive. In Story mode, you’ll work together to catch the killer. In Competitive mode, you’ll get secret objectives as you play through. Much like a bluffing card game, you’ll need to trick your friends to evade blame and make your hidden agenda come true.

We’ve had so much fun creating Hidden Agenda, and we can’t wait for you to experience it for yourselves! I hope you enjoy this preview.

Will it have a single player mode too?

I thought this was coming out this week ? Why does it say thee 22nd of November ?

Sadly its delayed in EU. North American release will be still on 24th Oct.

Thanks, looks like ill be buying from the US PSN then.

Sorry, but I am not getting this game because I do not have a tablet or smartphone and I don’t want a smartphone or a tablet as I prefer to play PS4 games with a DualShock controller!!!!!

Then miss out on another SuperMassive Games gem.

Lol, “I don’t have a smartphone”, sure.

Wait so you have to use Phone or tablet on this game ?. You can’t use a Dualshock. If this is the case then sadly i will be passing also.

Might sound random but do all the players need to be near the ps? My gf is in Korea and I was wondering if she could play with me on her phone?

I’ll play it when i can play it with a controller. I don’t play games on phones, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE

I’m kinda interested, loved Until Dawn, but I’d rather play it with a proper controller. I also don’t want to buy this game only to find out my phone isn’t supported or something.

can i use my windows 10 phone to play it i dont think its fair gamers should have they option whether to play with the controller or phone
