This week’s big new PlayStation Store releases: Unravel Two, Prey: Mooncrash, Jurassic World Evolution

Plus, Fallout Shelter and the rest of this week's releases in full

Ready for the PlayStation Conference later today? We bet you are! But you can get the E3 party started early as the last 48 hours saw a spate of surprise game releases. EA’s yarn-based puzzle platformer Unravel Two, Bethesda’s addictive Fallout Shelter and the lunar-bound DLC for Prey, Mooncrash, are all available on PlayStation Store right now.

But that isn’t all this week has in store: create your own dinosaur theme park with Jurassic World Evolution or blow away your enemies as Ratchet & Clank in the hectic Super Bomberman R.

Let’s take a run through this week’s highlights and, as always, the full release schedule.

Unravel Two

Why you should play it: EA delivered the first surprise announcement of the week, with a reveal – and release – of a colourful sequel to its 2016 platformer, Unravel. Take on the role of Yarny and friend and use their threads in inventive ways to overcome puzzles and platforming challenges. The game can be played solo (switching between the two) or in co-op.

Jurassic World Evolution

Why you should play it: Ever dreamed about having a dinosaur – or a few dozen – as pets? Well, dream no longer. Build your own prehistoric amusement park in Jurassic World Evolution and become director of the ultimate tourist attraction. Take charge of the legendary islands of the Muertes archipelago and showcase the wonder, majesty and danger of Earth’s most incredible beasts, all brought back from extinction.

  • Available: 12th June

Fallout Shelter

Why you should play it: Take control of your very own underground Vault from Vault-Tec. Build and organise the perfect shelter, take care of your dwellers to make sure they’re happy, hunt for supplies and protect your inhabitants from the dangers of the wasteland.

  • Available: Now

Prey: Mooncrash

Why you should play it: Fight overwhelming odds to escape the secret TranStar moon base. But be wary: each time you play you will have to overcome different challenges. The enemies you encounter, the hazards you face, the goals you complete, and the loot you collect will change for a dynamic and infinitely replayable challenge. Note: you’ll need the base game Prey to play this DLC.

  • Available: Now

Super Bomberman R

Why you should play it: Bomberman is back, and he’s brought some friends! And what better way to welcome Bomberman to PlayStation than getting PS icons Ratchet & Clank to help our hero save a whole new galaxy? Take down the Evil Emperor Buggler alone or with a friend in Story mode, or test your ballistic abilities in multiplayer Battle Mode, either locally or online in an explosive eight-player showdown!

  • Available: 14th June

Remember, if you’ve not got access to your PS4, PS3 or PS Vita then you can also buy through our online store.

Unravel Two is not available in the Norwegian PS Store. :(

Suprised to hear that its available here in Croatian PlayStation Store and not on bigger market PS store like Norway i don’t see why that game wouldn’t come out there as well..

They could at least give us an answer…

I’ve tried to contact them in several different ways and Sony are blaming EA, and EA are blaming Sony. The usual story, but at least they should be aware of it so I expect it to be fixed next week

Lego The Incredibles isn’t out until July…

I thought Tempest 4000 was releasing this week, any news please. 😀

I think, although this is hazy, it has been delayed until 26th of June. I know, I’m very annoyed with Atari also, considering it’s been sitting on the shelf for a while now. Yak’s masterpiece needs to be released!

Blimey, maybe we’re get it at some point this year 🙄 Any idea for the additional delay?

The latest delay with Tempest 4000 looks like it was due to a change of publisher: it was Atari publishing, but now it’s Nighthawk Interactive on Atari’s behalf. Not sure why that happened, because the lack of communication throughout this ongoing saga has been legendary.

And bear in mind that the 26th June date (which itself is a further slip from 12th June!) applies to North America. Hopefully we will see a release on or around the same date, but you’d be wise to manage your expectations because there’s no guarantee they’ve given any thought to a European release date.

I got Unravel Two already yesterday on EA Access. The first 10 hours of the full game is free. :)

Excited for Unravel 2 i always loved good puzzle platformer..

I can’t seem to access Warface

Why can’t I buy Jurassic World retail until next month?

I’m not paying £50 for a digital copy.

Argos are charging £49.99 & Amazon are looking £44.99. You might get it cheaper elsewhere but not by much, so you may as well buy digital tbh

Well physical isn’t out until next month, i’m not waiting.

How long does the presentation begin, or how many minutes? I am following the transfer from Serbia, where is currently 3AM and I have various data, accurate and disinfirmations so I do not know which credible time pommmmmmmmm … Thanks for the answer …

Maybe when you mention games in the article you should list the link for as well. Also $55 for bomberman R? I would think twice at half the price.

OMG another Neo GEO Title released well three months after its Original release date hopeful the rest of the missing 7 plus The Arcade Archives including R-Type will be released before the end of the Century such classic Games being prevent from released all in the sake of money & greed on Sony,s part

I was able to bump up the “investigation” in the PSN chain for the Norway store, but EA support told me that they had made Unravel Two available for the Norwegian PS store, but Sony PlayStation Norge decided not to publishing it. Xbox Live! published it for Norway ;). #thisisfortheplayers
