25? So that’s, what, five times the trailers than were shown at the presser we stayed up past 3am to watch?

Considering they said they were only going to be focused on 4 games for their conference in surprised and happy that we got as many as we did! I was fine staying up that late just for the 4 games to be honest, those 4 gameplays were amazing!

I somehow missed the Devil My Cry 5 trailer and…

Not sure why trailer trash Bayonetta is even there, or why they felt the need to include another “young douchebag” main character (rather than likable old douchebag Dante). Or why they didn’t just call it DMC 2 (because that’s what it is) or why they had that godamned awful music…or why it’s not a proper setting Devil May Cry game rather than a vague modern town (again)…or…or…

2.1

The main character in the trailer is Nero from DMC4 though, and the “awful” music…like, this is exactly what Devil May Cry has always been?

double posted…

No it’s what DMC has always been. This trailer was for DMC 2 with it’s generic plain looking modern town and pop trap music, and even has the main character of DMC now called “Nero”. If you remember actual Nero looked different and had a completely different personality.

If you play the original series again, you’ll see Devil May Cry is very different to this. With a different look (more “gothic”/”medieval”) and different feel and cringeworthy “metal” music.

They’re basically just changing the reboot to be the main series.

I guess I’m getting old, but does anybody else find the bloody / gross big banner for this news post on the home page plus on the top of this page a little too much for a web site where people of all ages (including kids) could go to for PlayStation news? I guess most kids are used to this kind of stuff anyways, but still, I don’t think an image like this is suitable in a PEGI 12 game or even a PEGI 16 game?

Could have gone with something a little more neutral. Lots of pretty shots / other kinds of games to choose from in this top 25.

That image would be suitable for a 16 rated game. 18 ratings aren’t actually anything to do with “gore” but to do with certain violent acts or who it’s inflicted upon and why.

A zombie with a bit of blood on his face would probably be fine in a 12 rated game.

My disappointment at no Medievil is beyond describable.

It was only announced 6 months ago so they probably don’t have a great deal to show yet.

It’s probably going to be at next years E3, or this years Playstation Experience..

5.2

The reveal also said “more details soon”. 6 months is longer than soon.

Skull and Bones? Cyberpunk 2077? Sekiro?

There were only a handful of games that gripped me. Why isn’t Cyberpunk here? That world looks mad – like a real city?

Res Evil 2, Death Stranding, (Cyberpunk), Sea of Solitude, The Last of Us 2 & Control.

I’ll check out Fallout 76 but I’m not hyped for it. *shrug*

Also, unlock Fortnite accounts, this is really really pathetic of you.
