  • Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1 ’52

New track – Red Bull Ring

Located in the stunning landscape of Styria, Austria, the Red Bull Ring is an intense high-speed circuit combining tight corners and long flat-out straights. While the course layout appears simple, its hilly topography makes it far more challenging than it initially seems. The full track as well as a short version has been included, and both are playable in reverse.

New to the ever-expanding collection of GT League Events, we’ve introduced three additional challenges for drivers of all experience levels, including:

  • Beetle & Samba Bus Festa – Beginner League
  • Group 3 Cup – Amateur League
  • Nostalgic 1979 – Professional League

Additional updates

In Sport Mode, players can now view an “Archive” of previous championship rankings, as well as measure and test their network quality. Players can also now explore the Zagato Museum, and in Scapes Mode, a special section on Cuba has been added. Finally, last month’s scenic Saint-Croix circuit has been added to the Circuit Experience

I love how much the Polyphony Digital and Yamauchi San keep updaiting the Gran Turismo Sport yes thesse are small updates one track few cars but keep updaitng, great to see that you guys are hearing the fans, players and respect their feedback..

If they were listening, they would have canned this Sport nonsense at its Paris Game Week reveal at the end of 2015 and just started working on GT7 instead like we all want. And sales suffered massively because of it.

How did they suffer? When GT Sport launched, PS4 actually had a much larger install than PS3 did when GT5 launched at the end of 2010. GT5’s sales, on a smaller install base, annihilated GT Sport sales, both games being the first major GT release on those consoles. Well, PS3 already had GT HD and GT5 Prologue released on the platform before GT5 came along so technically the sales should have been less if anything but they weren’t, they were glorious, something that GT Sport’s sales weren’t.

The fans voted with their wallets.

GT Sport is the leading racing sim in the era (last 5 years), in sales too… Nothing else can catch it! It’s a fact.

1.3

GT Sport has broken 5 million sales. It hasn’t sold as much as previous GTs (hell it hasn’t even been out for a year) but it is already a huge success. Stop whining. They are working on GT7.

I agrre with you i am the first person that would love to see the Gran Turismo returning to its roots good old GT tour or maybe make something open world set it in one country so we can drive around amazing mountain passes, small vilages or city whatever makes you happy. But i am also happy that they are trying to repair lack of cars , tracks, GT tour mode etc. It feels more like Gran Turismo Prolouge or some sort of mid title..than complete GT game i hope they will lisent to the fans like you and me and the next Gran Turismo game will be proper old school or maybe something like open world driving game that has bunch of amazing cars for us to enjoy.

2.1

then it wouldnt be gran turismo

No no no no no! This open world crap is what killed Need for Speed for me. You choose a race track, you pick your car and you race – that’s it! Actually if you think about it, this could be considered old school nowadays.

Enough of these additions until we get FULL PSVR support!

3.1

I don’t need it… sorry.

3.2

Maybe when we get PSVR 3.0 with proper resolution. GT Sport VR experience is great, but I wouldn’t play it more with this lame resolution.

3.3

I’ll never understand why people argue for less features and content. It’s like the fanboys arguing against backwards compatibility.

Really nice update! Thank you PD!!! 😊

Please, in the upcoming updates, give us more real tracks like Fuji, Twin Ring Motegi, Silverstone, Spa, Daytona etc and more new cars like Ferrari 488, McLaren 720S, etc.

Hope for better, more challenging AI and more options in Arcade mode in this update or in the future. 🙏🏻

definatly more tracks as you suggest, but more group 2 cars too please!

5

MY13 370Z please!

Bring back daily races please! You dont have to get rid of weeky’s entirely but at least if there was a track or car group you didn’t like under the old format; no biggie, tomorrow’s a new day. Not to mention driver boredom/fatigue. In this current format if there’s an event I’m not into, I play something else for a week and even if there is one or more events I like, I play less because I get bored doing the same race/s for days on end.

Please post here something full irrelevant, that nobody reads from Polyphony or Sony! Beginning with: We need… When… WHY… ? Bring back…! :)

Sometimes adults can acts like crybabies! :D

7.1

Yeah I agree, it’s because they want the old unrealistic style upgrades so they can race against you whilst you don’t have any. That’s about the size of it.

7.2

You’re just assuming everyone here is an adult?… Also, nothing wrong with feedback and constructive criticism. It seems like, base on your comments here, that you’re very much a stereotypical fanboy who doesn’t like anyone critiquing your favourite thing. If anyone should grow, perhaps it should be you

Its all well and good giving us more cars and tracks BUT each car does not handle or have brakes gt sport is very poor game compared to gt6 .

HI I would really like to see a few older Road cars like a nice ford escort but loveing the game and the updates

Will the stupid savegame system ever be “fixed”?

Please please PLEASE add the Subaru Impreza 22b STi or GC8 chassis! It feels like the game should have come with it already!

i want to buy a playstation but not enough money , can anyone donate me.
