Lastly, we’re super jazzed to be able to offer a very special offer. Pre-purchasing Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown from PlayStation Store will include the following incentives:

  • Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown dynamic Theme (delivered instantly)
  • A McDonnell Douglas F-4E plane and three aircraft skins (delivered at launch)
  • Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War (full game, delivered at launch)

However, we know some of you prefer to purchase games physically, so this same offer (minus the dynamic theme) will be available when pre-ordering at retail too!

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will be available at retail and on the PlayStation Store. A season pass that includes three additional planes, three additional stages, and a bonus in-game music player will also be available.

You will also be able to purchase a deluxe edition that includes the base game and season pass, as well as acquire the digital-only incentive Lockheed F-104 Starfighter plane.

What plane are you looking forward to jumping into most in Ace Combat 7?

I’ve somehow managed to never play an Ace Combat game before, but the VR support has me intrigued. Where does it sit on the Gran Turismo – WipeOut scale of VR content?

According to it’s own website

“PlayStation®4 players will be further immersed in ACE COMBAT 7’s realism through exclusive missions developed specifically for the Sony PlayStation VR.”

So by that it sounds like special bonus missions rather than the “full game”.

Apparently it amounts to roughly 3 hours of content, so not loads but definitely enough to tip you if you’re on the fence about the game.

Hmm, for 3 hours I’d rather pay £10 for a standalone “Ace Combat VR experience” rather than £60 for a game I won’t play most of

Breathed a sigh of relief after reading “However, we know some of you prefer to purchase games physically, so this same offer (minus the dynamic theme) will be available when pre-ordering at retail too!” sorry but games on the PS Store are too expensive compared to disc.

Had this on pre-order since it was originally announced way back way.

Going to have to query about the deluxe edition on Friday.

no ace combat 6 on ps4 ? i wish we had this one cos this game is still gorgeous. is there a chance we are having it ?

I would buy AC4,5,6 for PS4 in a heartbeat

Well this comes out a week before my birthday so I’ll be getting it.

Please include JOYSTICK SUPPORT. I have a Cyborg X waiting for something like this.

PS4 supports the HOTAS 4 only, which you can use on this game.

Can’t wait to pay for that season pass and fly around in 3 whole new skies.

On the pre-order incentives, in particular i’d like to know more about the version of AC5 we’re being offered…

Is it a straight port or a remaster and why “only” offer us AC5 and not 4 and Zero as well?

I played AC 4, 5 and Zero to death back in the day and also plenty of Skies of Deception and Joint Assault on PSP as well, but even if it “only” lets us play AC5 on PS4, it could be fun to do, but really as others have pointed out, a bigger incentive to pre-order would be to release a Playstation version of AC6, the only main AC game we didn’t get to play in “PlaystationLand” in the series’ history :) .

Also some more specifics of the content in the deluxe edition and season pass would be nice too :) .

Great idea, but can i ask one HUGE favour??? Bloody do the same with Ridge racer now we are all waiting for that anxiously!

I remember you sent a survey out of what Ace Combat/Ridge Racer you wanted remastered? or a remake???? is this the outcome of such survey???

I for one am day one on this and will get my physical pre-order on this weekend.

Can somebody answer some of these posts on here seems nobody from the companies or playstation answer anything lately!
