New on PlayStation Store this week: Battlefield V, Fallout 76, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, more

Plus, new PlayLink games Knowledge is Power: Decades, Ticket to Ride and more

It’s another action-packed week on PlayStation Store with a range of hotly-anticipated games hitting the virtual shelves in the coming days. Join mankind’s greatest conflict, survive a nuclear wasteland or soar through the sky as a purple fiery dragon. All this and more is detailed below!

1. Battlefield V

DICE returns to the battlefront that kickstarted its first person franchise: World War II. Ski down snow-covered mountains as you fight off the Nazi occupation in the single-player campaign then take on other players in all-out multiplayer skirmishes in historic locations across the world.

2. Fallout 76

Discover a desolate yet beautiful wasteland as you emerge from your vault into a post-nuclear America. This time, Bethesda Game Studios has delivered a thrilling twist to its action RPG series: every surviving human is another player. Go it alone or find safety in numbers as you rebuild the American dream by gathering supplies, crafting shelters and killing mutated creatures.

3. Spyro Reignited Trilogy

Spyro is back and looking better than ever. Journey through beautifully revamped realms to save your scaly friends from peril and gather a few gems along the way. Rekindle the fire with the original three platform adventures, Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon – because when there’s a realm that needs saving, there’s only one dragon to call.

Remember, if you’ve not got access to your PS4, PS3 or PS Vita then you can also buy through our online store.

I thought Runner 3 was our tomorrow? The disparity between us and the US continues needlessly. I feel the content curators at the European arm of PlayStation aren’t trying.

It is out, but unlike the full 50% off the yanks get, we get a 25% discount that is for ps plussers only.

I bought it on the yank store.

Also its bloody great!

Imagine it’s 2018 and a Spyro remaster outshines new Fallout and Hitman games..

I like colours. :)

Not really surprising, there’s probably been more bad/mediocre Hitman and Fallout games than good.

And don’t forget the fact: Fallout no matter which one runs like $&#@! on consoles. I hope it flops otherwise I lost all my faith in humanity. The game looks like from early PS1 era. Todd Howard and his untalented gang needs to be fired from game development.

I’d buy Spyro if I had money but I got a bit screwed over my my phone company this week and lost £98 to them i gotta do all sorts of tedious complaining and writing stuff to have any hope of getting back. I could buy Spyro then.

3.1

Yay i got my refund! so i bought Spyro on PSN for £29.96 (cos coupons). :)

Hitman 2 and spyro the dragon collection for me on disc . I’m not sure about fallout 76 let . But one more thing how come SNK 40th anniversary on ninendo switch only how come they get special treatment.

4.1

Because SNK decided to only release it on the Switch? I mean I’m pretty sure there’s plenty of NEOGEO games on the PlayStation store anyway.

Is there no new Vita content this week or are we just not listing it? The US are getting a Slayaway Camp port tomorrow, any chance that’s also out here?

I’ve never played the original Spyro games on PS1 ’cause i was a little kid back there and didn’t know anything about gaming. Now it’s time to play it. Battlefield V is actually good if you can accept the lack of content. (Only a few maps and game modes. I know the DLCs are going to be free but don’t forget, the last War Story thing and the Battle Royale mode hasn’t included yet)

“Battlefield V is actually good if you can accept the lack of content”. I am afraid cant accept that. Why even buy it day one at full price when the future holds more content at a lower price, given inevitable sales?

I totally agree with you. So much unfinished games are out there for full price, then a couple of years later (1 or 2) you can buy the proper release much much cheaper. EA and Dice had to delay the game but for what? Battlefield 3 and 4 was the best, these games are sold by their famous names I guess.

Please fix the download queue on the web-based PlayStation Store. Why aren’t you guys even trying? The problem is real.

7.1

They aren’t going to fix it. You complain about this regularly on PSN profiles as well. Please stop asking every week.

why wouldn’t they fix it? it’s a problem that appeared only recently

I’m the first to have seriously reported this problem with threads across multiple regions in the PS forums and you’re asking me to stop? Are you kidding me? It’s a broken feature, it should either work or be removed completely, not left non-functional for more than a half year and pretend that it doesn’t exist. Did we met before on that other site? I don’t recall your name. Why didn’t you attack me there too while you were at it? Jeez.

Because their focus is the PS4 and VR now. He has been asking for over a month now and I doubt they read the comments on here so you guys should try Sony support instead.

Oh, because you REALLY think we haven’t already tried contacting Sony support?

“Asking for over a month” but the problem actually started on late April. APRIL. It’s been seven months.

They just took the “we hear you” route like a certain other company, sadly.
