Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars DLC launches today

See Insomniac's twist on a classic Spider-Man villain with the game’s latest expansion

Hey everyone! Once again, we want to thank all our fans out there for your tremendous support of Marvel’s Spider-Man since its launch on 7th September.

Whether you’re playing the main game, experiencing it again with New Game+ and Ultimate Difficulty, or checking out the beginning of the game’s post-launch DLC, Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps with Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist, we’ve been blown away by the response.

We know you’ve been waiting for the next chapter, and we’re excited to release Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars today!

This chapter picks up right where Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist left off, with Hammerhead – the horrific head-butting villain who remains obsessed with his organized crime’s “glory days” — continuing his battle against the other Maggia families.

I hope you’ll enjoy our take on a classic comic book Spider-Man villain in a storyline that has some pretty intense moments and a few surprises in store.

Want to see more from Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars? We have another Just the Facts video to give you a glimpse!

Just the Facts is the in-game podcast of former Daily Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson, who is always ready to complain – loudly — about Spider-Man and all the ways our beloved web-slinger is screwing up royally. We have a lot of fun writing these and working with actor Darin De Paul to bring JJJ to life in our universe.

You can pick up Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars from PlayStation Store now. Haven’t checked out Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps yet? The entire bundle of all three chapters* – including nine new Spidey Suits** – is also available, giving you a saving over purchasing the three chapters separately.

Also, be sure to catch up with the latest Marvel comic reading list I put together with our friends at Marvel Unlimited. You can check it out here and preview some of my favourite classic Hammerhead appearances.

Of course, we aren’t done yet with Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Even now we’re continuing support of the game and wrapping up production on the third and final Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps chapter: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining – which we aim to have to you just in time for your holiday break*!

That’s all for now – enjoy Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars!

*Users will receive Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleep’s third chapter, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining by December 2018.

**Each Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleep’s chapter contains three new Spidey Suits.

yep it’s fun. I seem to have lost my spider-skills a bit though cos i got beat hard a couple times. Too much Spyro in the past week I guess. Which.. now i think about it is oddly fitting. Cos you be the original Spyro company. :O

same here, not so much on the story but the stronghold missions got me a few times, smaller cramped areas with too many different types of mobs at once, have to keep moving about and building up focus to do instant finishers, finished them but was very scrappy.

Overall though i’m not enjoying this dlc quite as much, first part was better to me, spiderman is a great game but too much more of the same can only go so far, would have been nice to have an extra power or two to go with suits or some extra gadgets just to mix it up a bit

Agreed regarding the lack of new gadgets and powers. I mean, I managed to beat all the challenges, side quests, crime activities, strongholds and what else is left and I end up with a lot of tokens from them and can’t spend it as there aren’t anything left to buy.

I don’t expect they will add anything like that for the next DLC, though.

Yeah, probably be more of same again lol, and I agree, I only needed a couple of tokens from main game to finish everything, as just cannot gold the drones haha , but I had them in first hr of dlc1, so doesn’t seem any need now

We close the comments for posts after 30 days.
