PlayStation + Paul George: Introducing the new PG 2.5 x PlayStation Colorway sneakers from Nike

PlayStation and PG are back again with a new collaboration

I was blown away by the response to the release of the PG2 x PlayStation back in February. As a huge fan of PlayStation, I was honoured to get the chance to collaborate on something that so many of you loved. Because of that, I’m happy to announce that PlayStation, Nike Basketball, and I have returned with a new collaboration, the PG 2.5 x PlayStation Colorway.

PG 2.5 x PlayStation Colorway

For those who know me, gaming is a big part of who I am – I love the fans and I love this community, so it was amazing to see the gaming and sneaker worlds collide with the original PG2 collaboration.

This time around, I wanted to take the design old school, back to my earliest days of gaming. For me – as I’m sure many of you can relate – those memories date back to the original PlayStation. Working with Nike and PlayStation, we focused on bringing that original PlayStation inspiration to life in this new design.

Here are a few of my favourite elements about this new Colorway:

  • The tongues of the shoe still have the PG and PlayStation logos that light up and pulsate blue, but this time we added the original four-colour PlayStation logo that lights up on the other side of the tongue
  • The strap across the top front of each shoe provides stability to really lock you in
  • The iconic PlayStation symbols are embossed in patent leather on each shoe, just like on the original PG2 x PlayStation Colorway

This collaboration is very special and personal to me. I’ve been a PlayStation fan ever since I was kid, so I’m excited about continuing to partner with a brand that I grew up loving.

The PG 2.5 x PlayStation Colorway drops globally on 1st December, 2018. For more information on the release, make sure you download the Nike SNEAKRS app.

Nice to see the consistency of keeping all wearable PS merch uniformly butt ugly.

These are retromazing

Which games will be preloaded? And hopefully they will come with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, because it will be difficult to walk around with all the cables.

The app you ask us to install is not available in the UK

In the Uk the app is named SNEAKRS not SNKRS

Are they Walk Backwards compatible at launch?

For this you will most likely need the Season Pass, because walking backwards in the

winter on ice is much more difficult than, for example, in summer.

Enjoying this comment section.

Hey guy’s an gal’s, this is my first comment on the ps blog site even though i’ve been a ps subscriber for yonk’s now but i just thought i’d get my thought’s out here too. Ok, so in my humble opinion…i think the ps trainer’s look superb!, i mean for me the color’s are there, the logo’s, the design of the actual trainer’s themselves ect is just screaming at me mid going into late 90’s when i was a teenager myself and i again in different word’s they look fantastic to me and if the chance arises ? then i’ll be definitely be picking a pair up. I need a new pair of trainer’s anyway so there’s me excuse lol.
