This week’s PlayStation Store highlights are all about conflict. You can do battle with everything from scary mutant spiders in Metro Exodus to twin-sister warlords in Far Cry New Dawn. And if you’re less about guns and more about over-the-top martial arts, join the Jump Force for colourful anime beatdowns.

Read on to see the full list of new releases and choose your next video game fight wisely.

1. Far Cry New Dawn

Explore Ubisoft’s vibrant post-apocalyptic world and help rebuild Hope County, Montana following the events of Far Cry 5. Watch out for the ruthless Highwaymen led by a pair of fearsome sisters – because why have one villain when you can have two?

2. Jump Force

Play with crazy manga hairstyles and even crazier combo attacks in Spike Chunsoft’s action-packed fighter. Customise your own character or play as iconic heroes from Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece and more. If you can’t wait to get started, pick up the Ultimate Edition and start fighting three days early from 12th February.

3. Metro Exodus

Venture into the post-nuclear Russian wilderness in A4 Games’ third instalment of its acclaimed FPS series. Adapt to the day/night cycle and changing weather conditions as you craft weapons to take down your foes in tense tactical combat. Maybe you’ll get to slay some mutant crustaceans for a post-apocalyptic shrimp cocktail…

4. Eden Tomorrow

What happens when an amnesiac and a drone wind up on a hostile alien planet? Soul Pix is serving up a story-driven PS VR action-adventure inspired by ’70s and ’80s science fiction films. Explore your surroundings and work together with your robotic buddy to solve puzzles while dodging vicious creatures. Good luck escaping this place!

5. Hyper Jam

Hyper Jam

Prepare for a stylish neon-drenched arena brawler filled with powerful weapons, stackable power-ups and a killer synth soundtrack. Go all-out in local or online multiplayer for up to four players in ’80s-inspired arenas and remember to watch your surroundings – you never know when a speeding train might hit you…

This week’s pre-order

DiRT Rally 2.0

Don’t settle for second place in Codemasters’ globetrotting racing spectacle. Take on challenging tracks with over 50 historic and modern-day rally cars across six real-life locations in New Zealand, Argentina, Spain, Poland Australia and the USA. If you’re feeling impatient, you can get a three-day head start by you picking up the Deluxe Digital Edition.

That’s…. a whole lot of Far Cry. You really couldn’t had come up with a better solution to the different region releases instead of listing Far Cry 13 times…?

Good to see Nekopara Vol 2 actually releases on time here. (Or will it? Vol 1 took its sweet time..)

CoolRichy007UK 11 February, 2019 @ 18:37

Shows how lazy the guy who updates eu blog is lol

Three awesome games for me:

1 Far Cry New Dawn

2 Jump Force

3 Metro Exodus

they will keep me busy for a While

CoolRichy007UK 11 February, 2019 @ 18:38

For me also Farcry new dawn and sims4 get famous :D

Metro exodus for me and try far cry new dawn when it’s cheap because not paying lot money just dlc game .

CoolRichy007UK 11 February, 2019 @ 18:36

Farcry new dawn is a STANDALONE GAME NOT DLC !!!! nuff said case closed ignoring replys!

I wouldn’t even get it then. Farcry 5 was awful. Been playing dying light which is 5 years older and so much better in gameplay, vehicles and coop. Plus it was a fraction of the price I wasted on FC5.

CoolRichy007UK 11 February, 2019 @ 18:39

Farcry new dawn is a STANDALONE GAME NOT DLC people so there!

Okay calm down calm down eh?

Not sure what has happened to the several games listed last week as due on 8th February that just never showed up?

Meow Motors, etc – not massive heavy hitters but would be appreciated knowing what’s going on.

StevenJamesHyde 12 February, 2019 @ 08:00

Access Denied too

and primal was a stand alone game people, it wasn’t the farcry 4 map with different skins. it was built from the ground up as a whole new experience. totally not DLC or an expansion or a lazy way to earn money by a company than thinks churning out sequels does that (assassins creed etc)

They’re all basically just FC3 with a few new assets copy pasted over a generic map.

Should just release it as a randomly generated map thing with content packs every month. Then people could have a “new game” every month (they’d still probably pay the same for it too)!

Anyone excited for Metro Exodus?cause it looks very good

I don’t know, the first 2 games looked nice, but were a bit boring.

Even if it is your thing, they usually drop in price pretty quickly too, so it’s worthwhile holding off for a few months.

Actually everything dropping down quite fast.

No Trails of Cold Steel? Is this a disc exclusive then?

Far cry clearly is just a SP expansion whacked out as a stand alone product CoolRichy007UK. Anyone following the blog will have seen this guy and his zeal before. GTA V and Crash Bandicoot posts were especially full of his zeal.

Trails of Cold Steel doesn’t even have an announced release date buddy, all the retailers are using different placeholder dates

the next date is the start of March (seemingly) although the 2nd game is still reported for May, and since they’ve now finished the 3rd game which was for the Ps4 anyway. I’m hoping we have all three before the end of the year… i’m eager to return to thors.

Hyper Jam looks like a lot of fun, I just hope that cross-play with PC players is opt-in and not the default, cause then it will be a pain to get into a PS4-only lobby. And I don’t want to play with a controller against KB+M.

MiseryPrincess 11 February, 2019 @ 22:13

There’s the free Resident Evil 2 free expansion (Ghost survivors) coming on the 15th too…

Ugh. Nope.

Still waiting for a particular indie game that was supposed to have been out in December but only got released on pretty much everything but the EU PSN store.

Hey Playstation EU, when are you going to set this months PS Now titles live for the PC client?

Far Cry New Dawn, Eden Tomorrow and Intruders Hide and Seek for me great week for gaming.

“Gnomes Garden 3 in 1 Bundle” was listed last week and didn’t show up. Now it’s listed again, with release date yesterday, and nowhere to be found.

We close the comments for posts after 30 days.
