A reminder that Tekken 7 has less content than any other Tekken game since the first.

The singleplayer is basically just a short “story” featuring no one but the Mishima’s, and the game doesn’t even have a proper arcade mode, ending movies, or even standard modes. The offline vs is bare-bones, lacking team battle and other obvious things, and the online has been abandoned for a while. The AI is terrible and doesn’t even know how basic game mechanics work.

They still haven’t fulfilled the content promises of the first overpriced season pass either, nor was any of the content remotely value for money. The second season pass is basically just adding overpriced DLC of characters they said at release wouldn’t be DLC, and more guest characters. The games support has just been bizarre balance patches which make no real sense, and adding a feature where you can just mash buttons to do combos…

Just buy pretty much any other fighting game (get SC VI, which has content AND Yoshimitsu)… You’l...

The story is dumb fun and features nods to previous story moments in the series, it definitely has more characters than just the Mishima characters.

I’ve been playing online multiple times per week since launch up to last night and it never takes long to find matches, calling it ‘abandoned’ is just not true.

The first season pass made the characters £6.60 each and thats if the bowling mode has no value to you. The second season pass was £25 making the 6 characters £4.20 each. How is this overpriced? (It’s not). The comments of Harada about wanting to make legacy characters free is not reflective of the actual choices the business was going to make, don’t be naive.

From the rest of your comments its clear you aren’t engaging your brain. I’m only replying so that someone who was considering picking up Tekken doesn’t decide not to due to your mostly flawed argument. Also SCVI is a mess, with a more expensive season pass that has less playable characters in it, a messed up online and...

The story is basically just a recap of previous games with 1 extra fight at the end and in the middle.. It’s not even “dumb fun” as most of it is listening to a narrator talk then a 15 second fight against the same few enemies… Where were main series characters like Yoshimitsu or King in the “story”? Oh wait they aren’t there at all…

Let’s be honest, it’s pretty much entirely abandoned, especially if you want to fight with more than 3 bars and not at “peak” time. To get to “10 online matches” less than a month after launch took hours and hours of mostly waiting around in empty lobbies. It took 15-30 minutes to find a ranked match even then.

“£6.60” or even “£4.20” for a single character with an often copy/pasted moveset (Anna/Armor King/Marduk/guest characters), and maybe a second costume (maybe) is good value to anyone? He didn’t say “he wanted” he said “they will be”, then he lied and did the opposite, don’t start making “business” excuses for a seasoned liar, hold him accountable...

Even the store page lies about the content of the first season pass (“hundreds of costumes” means about…8), I guess that’s just “business”.

“Mostly flawed argument” Well, ok then, so ignoring the lack of singleplayer, brokenly bad AI, dated graphics, how everything looks shiny, bad load times, unfun mechanics, spam to combo, rage arts, terrible balance, bland generally pointless new cast (other than Kazumi they’re not even mentioned), missing fun characters, terrible DLC and lies, we have a erm, game with £6.60 character packs with many fun hours to be had in lobbies… Guess you typed all of that out while waiting for a match…

Nah nothing for me. Also Dead Cells got a big update today with a lot of balance changes and additions and such and I Just been playing it for last hour and finally beat the boss and now playing through again cos it’s one of those games that where there’s still plenty to replay it for. :D

I think it might be time to try out FighterZ. Was kinda turned off by the beta

Thinking about Lego DC Supervillans, i love DC and Lego and i think price is fair so might buy that one…

I’ll take Ni No Kuni 2 at 64% off

Is it me or do all the links go to the US Playstation store?

That’s probably because they did the usual thing and just copy/pasted the US blog entry…
