I guess that basically new release games already being discounted means they didn’t sell so well…

There are some good deals here, surprisingly.. Some of the games are almost 90% off in the bottom section.

Four out of four games I was interested in, and checked out has had their prices jacked up in the last month before going on sale… It’s just morally [DELETED]…. and I refuse to partake in this sale in principle because of that…

misterMike1989 20 March, 2019 @ 12:30

What are you talking about? Games don’t increase price over time.

Oh they can… may have been £39.99 at launch which reduces to £24.99 over time, but then suddenly goes back to £29.99 or £34.99 a week before a sale so that the £24.99 “Sale” price looks more tempting.

Vlash_D what games? Just interested to see if there is a pattern.

They removed my post about them jacking up the prices before going on sale… wow… just wow…

I still see it, so which are the games?

The post was apparently reinstated after a few hours… with a word removed. I’ve posted a comment there with the games I’ve found.

Seems like they removed my post with the followup here… probably because of links to the proof?

The games are Soulcalibur VI, Kingdom Hearts 3, Knack 2, Grip, Call Of Cthulhu and Castlevania Requiem: Symphony Of The Night & Rondo Of Blood. Those are the ones I’ve seen so far.

It would be easier to permanently drop prices for Destiny 2 editions, this is boring, game is constantly on sale…..

Yakuza Kiwami 2 price drop is also tedious….

And you put wrong Metro on sale, give us Exodus, enough with the Redux….

“It would be easier to permanently drop prices for Destiny 2”

but then it wouldn’t make news.

Some good stuff here if you dig a bit.

Damn I only brought Borderlands 2 VR last Wednesday for £40 now it’s down to £25 ☹️ I always do that.

Hey, just out of curiosity, what’s your next game and when ? :P

Has anyone noticed the Darksiders Collection “bug” ? I have the Collection in my wishlist for some time now, and i’ve noticed it 3 – 4 times its been on sale since. Its up for 16 euros, noooice price, thumbs up and all. BUT, if you were a plus member, back then, you got Darksiders 2 Remastered as a PS Plus game for free, right ? And if you own that, psn doesn’t let you buy the Collection, which for 16 euros is great, even if you already own D2 and you want D1 and D3, 8 euros per game.

What’s up with thaaaat ?

misterMike1989 20 March, 2019 @ 12:37

It’s not just Darksiders, it’s pretty much in any collection, if you own one part then collection is unavailable to you. It’s like with games and season pass or dlc, if you buy it together it’s cheaper, it’s more expensive if you get base game first and then buy addons separately and in the end you can’t buy deluxe or whatever named version if you own base game even if the deluxe edition on sale is cheaper the price of season pass or dlcs. Publishers always push for new sales rather than offering something to existing buyers, not much to do with the store, it is what it is.

@misterMike1989, yeah, you are right when it comes to actively selecting what games you buy but in this case it was free with 2017 November’s games. Bare in mind that i will lose this game from my librady when my subscription ends. I think that we should be given the ability to buy them in this case.

MiseryPrincess 21 March, 2019 @ 01:17

It’s not just collections that the bug happens with. Sometimes owning the demo/trial means you’re unable to buy the collection the game is in..

The EU sale is absolute rubbish compared to what the USA ps store got last week!!!

Still no Horizon Zero Dawn or Detroit Become Human… sigh!!

Where is Destiny 2 – Forsaken?

I can’t find it today in the store at all

I thought the destiny 2 annual pass was on sale?? Just checked the store and its in the sale page but still says £29.99 even at checkout.

Destiny 2 Forsaken was 13.99€ on Wednesday 20th, and now it’s 39.99

What is the purpose to be in March Madness without discount?

Same with the annual pass, had the money on Friday to get it but went back up in price so bought anthem instead from cex instead
