New on PlayStation Store this week: Blood & Truth VR, Trover Saves the Universe, DayZ, more

Plus, pre-order Warhammer: Chaosbane and The Elder Scrolls Online: Elseweyr

Three very different PS VR experiences headline this week’s new PlayStation Store releases. Feel every inch the action hero in London Studio’s setpiece-packed blockbuster Blood & Truth. Prefer your thrills sci-fi? Take a rip-roaring trip across the cosmos from the co-creator of Rick & Morty in comedic adventure Trover Saves the Universe. Favour chills? Settle in for a mini-game frightfest with Five Nights at Freddy’s VR.

Let’s take a closer look at these and the rest of the releases this week*.

1. Blood & Truth

Battle through a bulletstorm in this slick, cinematic romp as you acquaint yourself with the worst London’s criminal underworld has to offer. It packs all the intense gunfights and thrilling encounters you’d expect from a Hollywood blockbuster, but with one key difference: it’s you at the heart of the action.

2. Trover Saves the Universe

An intergalactic villain has stolen your beloved dogs for nefarious means: stuffing the pups into his eyeholes and using their essence to destroy the universe. It’s not your traditional science fiction adventure, but we’d expect no less from the mind behind the twisted – and acclaimed – cartoon series Rick and Morty.

3. Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted

Stacked full of mini-games – as well as terrifying animatronic dolls – this new spin on the acclaimed horror series re-imagines its classic encounters for PS VR, forcing you to try and escape the attention of its fearsome cast while solving a variety of puzzles.

4. DayZ

The zombie survival adventure arrives on PS4. Do you have the fortitude to escape the undead and outwit fellow players who’d rather attack you for your scavenged supplies than brave the vast wasteland together? Nail-biting tension awaits those of you willing to enter the apocalypse.

  • Available: 29th May

Bought Unruly Heroes, love it so far, really got that Rayman feeling, mixed with a little Trine :)

Summer Sports Games, is that really accurate, cant find any trailers or anything? Well Im always happy to try out games like that, still searching for a Track N Field for the modern age. London 2012 was kinda fun for a while.

I have been playing Blood and Truth since the weekend (got an early copy). If you like VR and James Bond movies you would love this game.

Where did u get that avatar from?

Isnt that a pro evolution soccer avatar ?

DaysZ for me if it’s free to play because I heard bad things about it for not finishing the game but this was meant come to PS4 at launch of PS4 . At least on PS4 know

Why would it be free to play? It’s like £30 on steam.

It seem to be around 50 dollar, thats just stupid. 30 is the limit for these games if they actually wanna sell some copies.

Off-Topic. Been wondering for ages now: Are the emoticons on this blog exclusive? If so, what’s up with those three “” ?

They’re really quite different to the others and I don’t get why they’re even a thing. I mean, I get why they’d exist in general, but why on a PS blog? lol?

So many good VR games. And Sony was correct to outright confirm that VR games on PS4 will work on PS5 and the headset. That way sales of games and the hardware won’t suffer because of uncertainty.

Where’s the 10% discount for Bloodstained, for PS+ subscribers?

I like how all the dlc is listed under PS Vita

I can’t find Wartile anywhere in the store. Please tell, has it been delayed? Cancelled? Thank you in advance…
