Interesting. The only game that i was interested in seeing in a sale, Far Cry 5, is on sale for 28€. In April’s sale, it was 20€. Kind of ironic that this sale is suppose to give value to PS PLUS and yet it’s more expensive than the previous sale (which didn’t require PS PLUS for the discount).

1.1

Unfortunately, the same goes for a lot of titles we’d cheaper not so long ago & without PS+ like the BF1, SW Battlefront 1/2 and Titanfall 2 ones.

1.2

Yup, that’s PS+’ exploitative inner workings for you :

-Being forced to rent random games all year around, all generation, simply to gain access to basic online capabilities.

-Part of your invested money supposedly being used for better sales, that ironically turn out to be more expensive.

-The IGC slowly being cut down in quality and size over the years, now that it’s mandatory for online anyway they need no other incentive to keep us around.

I’m hoping today’s IGC titles will tempt me back to Plus, then I can avail of some discounts. Come on Sony, I WANT to come back. Prove you want me to!

2.1

here here, been waiting for a couple of months to renew my subscription. However the IGC the last few months have not been able to convince me to do it. Luckily you don’t need plus to play fortnite.

So basically EA & UBI sale with their usual scraps.

4

I’m same not renewed plus in months, previously I hadn’t let my subscription lapse in the 4 or 5 years I’ve been a member (ps3 era when it was a benefit not forced). The free games have sucked since ps3/vita got discontinued, and theres so many good f2p games now you can play without needing a sub (the bulk of my friends list are on games like Apex Legends, Fortnight, Path of Exiles & Dauntless or playing offline only games). Sony need to address this because I’m pretty sure they’ll be noticing the drop in subs.

Same here man. First since a couple of years that I have a lapse in my plus subscription.

Well… With news/rumors of backward compabatibility relating to online multiplayer I once again implore you – Sony – to either get it through your heads that part of your consumer public has no interest in random rentals or building a digital library, or either to stop exploiting us knowingly with this PS+/online combo.

I had high hopes they would drop this highly profitable but exploitative PS+/online concept and now it seems like they’re trying to give people more incentive of sticking to their subscriptions by having it relate to (current)/last-gen multiplayer.

Please, as a longtime Sony/Playstation gamer and fan, I implore you to cut online costs from PS+ or any other form of subscription that inflates its price, and provide us with the opportunity to pay for what we use, plain and simple. Please, I Implore you not to exploit us for another entire generation and allow us to gain trust in your company’s workings once more.

you know ps plus will be getting a price drop during days of play and already has previously. the one thing i want them to change to actually us to keep the ps plus and let us play them without a subscription . that would increase the value and certainly offer a larger vareity of free games with plus . i been a ps plus member since i got my ps4 pro in january last year.there has been some really good games they have given like amnesia collection deux ex rime bloodborne ratchet and clank god of war 3 destiny 2 yakuza kiwami hitman for honor and a few more i cant remember. i would like to see online be free like it was before but i find seeing them do that since they would be losing a lot of revenue. best thing they can do is offer more games and vareity and let us keep them once our sub expries like xbl and bundle in one or two more services with the ps plus subscription for free. like if i was to sub to ps plus for a year give me ps now and ps vue both for free with that subscripti...

Interesting they say it starts today but not for me :D:D How long it takes for discounts to be active ?

Would be good if they actually updated the store at the same time as they post announcements, because not a single one of those games is actually discounted at the moment – as of 8am UK time.

They have been for me. Since about 7am. On the web version of i checked on my phone while still in bed anyways.

Same here, at 9:30 CET…

I’m very tempted to get Grip: Digital Deluxe for £16.19 down from £44.99. :)

8.1

You’ll regret it. Thanks for the game pass on the other console, it was in since it’s released. As much as I liked Rollcage, Grip has nothing to do with it. It’s not a great game.

Carnivius_Prime 29 May, 2019 @ 08:15
8.2

But I already know I like it cos I’ve played it on PC and want it on my preferred system and with my PSN buddies who play it too. It’s just I’ve spent too much money lately that even £16 is a lil bit of a stretch of the ol’ wallet.

Not too many things from my Wishlist, but at least the 8-Bit games are finally on sale, so I’m getting Hordes and Invaders. I liked 8-Bit Armies and now I can finally mix them all. Reminds me a lot of WH 40K Dawn of War.

Edit: Since not too many people know those games, I recommend them to fans of RTS games like DoW, Age of Empires or Warcraft. There is building in this too, but it’s not the same as in those. Still a lot of fun and it’s nice having RTS games on console.

What discounts? Is Playstation crew still sleeping?

11

Lol, saw Kingdom come in the double sale above, was interested to see how much it was discounted, only to find out it is not discounted in the store at all.

sony, plz discount the game or remove it from the list above.

11.1

That game is on sale, they’re pretty bad with updating the store. When they post this it usually takes them a day or so until all the discounts are actually on the store.

12

There are a couple of good deals here but nothing to blow a fortune on.

Thief for £2.50, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 for £7.74, Dead Synchronicity £4.99 and Hitman 2 Gold Edition seems reasonable at £32.50.

13

Can’t find this in the store :(

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

14

@BiGsMo07ke If you’re viewing the store via the ps4, Go to Games ->Explore then move the highlight/cursor right of screen ’til you find the “PS 2 Classics” splash page. Bit like what happened to finding the ps1/ps2 “classics” on the PS3 storefront ’til you virtually had to type in the names & do a manual search! Between this sale (& the previous May promotion) it reminds me of Battle Princess Madelyn being 30% off on Steam/Xbone & up to 40% off on Switch recently & yet the poor devs are still stuck in purgatory with no EU/AU PSN date 5.5 months after the rest of the world!
