Minecraft was the best-selling game on PlayStation Store in May

Rage 2 and Blood & Truth also make their chart debuts

The creators of world-building phenomenon Minecraft had one additional reason to be jubilant during last month’s 10th anniversary celebrations: the game topped PlayStation Store’s best-sellers games chart for May.

Elsewhere, Bethesda’s supercharged shooter Rage 2 made its debut, action blockbuster Blood & Truth entered at number one in the PS VR list, and Fortnite continued its dominance of the DLC charts.

Yeah, the fact that May’s only real major release debuted at 20th best selling for the month is very bad. I doubt we’ll be seeing Rage 3 anytime soon

Depends where they see the problem. Imho the problem in the sales in not in the IP “Rage”, but in the new developers Avalanche. After Just Cause 4 probably not many gamers trusted them to deliver next open world game with great quality.

Give the Rage 3 back to ID Soft of any other experienced developer who can deliver polished FPS and Im going to buy it day one.

The first game in the series sold pretty terribly, even though it was made by a more renowned company. So there probably wasn’t very high expectations for sales anyway.

The people making it aren’t exactly first rate developers either and have mostly produced flops over and over (the only real exception being JC2 and some junky looking f2p “hunting sim” (whoever finds those fun)).

I’m glad to see Minecraft is still going strong. I’ll never get tired of that game lol, it’s so much fun playing with other people.
