These are your new PlayStation Store releases this week

New games include Dragon Quest Builders 2, New Star Manager, They Are Billions and more

There’s something for everyone in this week’s PlayStation Store releases. Build your own dream world in Dragon Quest Builders 2, survive the zombie apocalypse in They Are Billions or manage your own football team in New Star Manager.

Check out our highlights below and head over to PlayStation Store to get started on your next adventure.

Dragon Quest Builders 2*

Why it should be on your radar:

The only limit is your imagination in Square Enix’s charming block-building RPG. Explore a massive world filled with materials and treasures as you create impressive structures across multiple islands. Build a community while fighting off crazed cultists alongside your mysterious new friend Malroth in the solo campaign, or go online with up to three other builders and create something magnificent together.

New Star Manager

New Star Manager on PS4

Why it should be on your radar:

The creator of the BAFTA award-winning New Star Soccer series is back with a new immersive game that’s perfect for those of you who want to hone your management skills. Take over your own football team, construct club facilities, manage training regimes, choose the perfect sponsors and handle off-pitch drama.

They Are Billions

Why it should be on your radar:

If steampunk tactical action set on a post-apocalyptic zombie-infested planet sounds like your jam, you should pick up They Are Billions by Numantian Games. Build a colony of human survivors and hire tormented (and rude) mercenaries to defend it. This is a real-time strategy game with a pause button. If things get hectic, enter Pause Mode to place structures and give orders to your army. Take all the time you need.

Lethal League Blaze

Lethal League Blaze on PS4

Why it should be on your radar:

You should give Team Reptile’s colourful action fighter a shot if you’re looking for a new method of beating up your rivals. Your goal is to hit your opponent with an anti-gravity ball using strikes, bunts, parries, throws and special abilities. Play solo in the Arcade and Story modes or destroy your friends in local and online co-op for up to four players.

Streets of Rogue

Streets of Rogue on PS4

Why it should be on your radar:

Fight, sneak and hack your way through randomly generated cities where you can become anything – from a smooth talking bartender, to a trigger happy soldier, to even a hyper intelligent gorilla. Play how you want in an ever-changing world with madcap and varied action that mischievously blends gameplay elements from Deus Ex, Nuclear Throne, The Binding of Isaac and even GTA.

Other new games released this week…

For the complete list of DLC also dropping this week, check out PlayStation Store.

*Not available in Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE.

Rocksmith DLC for this week is a The Pretty Reckless 3 pack with “Going to Hell” “Make Me Wanna Die” & “My Medicine”

Gotta admit, don’t remember there being any Kingdom of Lumos in Streets of Rogue, but I guess its been a while since I last tried it on PC…

They didn’t say “there will be no indie games”, they just didn’t specifically say that “indie games were a focus”, like they did with the PS4.

There will probably be just as many “indie” games, developers aren’t going to ignore a popular platform just because Sony don’t go out of their way to help.

Regardless of what people seem to think, other than a few rare exceptions “indie” games aren’t huge business or massive moneymakers. With PS4 backwards compatibility planned, there isn’t really as much need for a bunch of quick and cheap games to bulk out the catalog either. Companies like Nintendo on the other hand have a desperate need for as many games as they can get as their own game catalog is pretty tiny.

So indie games are not for „hardcore gamers“? Okay…

There should be an update or upgrade for the game The Station to make it PSVR compatible. Not sure if it is free or or not but the retail version is out on the 12th so maybe the store will have the patch or upgrade available on the 12th.

Good to see the full list of games again

Unfortunately it’s not the full list of releases still. The list of DLC is still missing for some random unknown reason.

On other regions blogs (and the blogs for every rival console) they still list every single release (with a full description of every game)/DLC/and other things too.

Hi MiseryPrincess I came here to say the same as you. On this Blog post SIEE list their “headline” games but do give the date of release! But do do for the “other” games the “headline” games seemingly have been dropped from this list.

I still don’t understand why the DLC releases have been dropped. The whole purpose of this Blog is to advertise any release of Games, DLC (Spider-man for instance) or hardware. Sony gets a cut of all sales, so for the life of me I can’t understand why SIEE would not advertise all releases for the coming week whether it is a game or DLC as it is in theirs and the publishers/game developers interest i.e. money. Not providing the links also deprives the developer/publisher/Sony an easy way to generate income. I find this backward step bizarre as surely SIEE want to generate income via the weekly release post on this blog and by giving less information surely they are not doing so.

Dear Blog Staff “Less Information” = “Less Income” :- Try explaining tha...

They do seem to be purposefully ignoring and treating the Europe region as less important and not really worth even giving equal treatment to.

Which is strange, as the Europe region has historically been Sony’s stronghold, and was basically the reason for their survival through much of the early PS3 era. Does seem weird to treat their biggest long term support with worse deals, worse treatment and less game releases, but businesses are weird things.

the highlighted releases are missing the release dates and links…

Nice, They are Billions and Streets of Rogue :)

8

where is the judgment DLC that other regions already got last tuesday?

9

Nice to see Blazing Chrome manage to come out at the same time as everyone else for a change!…unlike Battle Princess Madelyn sadly-6.75 MONTHS after US/Asian PSN,XB,PC & Switch got it & still in approval purgatory SIEE?

have to agree with you 100%, it is mind boggling how sony treat releases in the uk. i should not be surprised because it has been like this since 1996? But now with some of these games only on digital store fronts there is no way of getting them in a timely fashion.

BLAZING CHROME and AGGELOS for me thanks. Awesome stuff. :)

Why does it say Dragon Quest Builders is not available in the UAE??

Are you just winding us up with Redeemer now? Been waiting forever, gets to the 12th and it’s still not there!
