Check out our list of highlights below and head over to PlayStation Store for more information.

1. Metal Wolf Chaos XD

Metal Wolf Chaos on PS4

Why it should be on your radar:

Devolver Digital finally gives us an international release for FromSoftware’s acclaimed third-person shooter from 2004. Play as President Michael Wilson and defend America from a coup d’etat using your advanced mech armed to the teeth with modern weaponry.

This version comes with updated controls and gameplay, a new save system, and 4K support for widescreen displays. What more could you want?

2. Age of Wonders: Planetfall

Why it should be on your radar:

Triumph Studios is back with a new entry in their empire-building strategy franchise with an all-new sci-fi twist. Take on the series’ familiar turn-based combat as you build your utopia in the single-player campaign, tackle random skirmish maps or go against your friends in multiplayer. There are six factions to join, from dinosaur-riding Amazons to zombie-like cyborgs – because why would you want something basic?

3. Sagebrush

Sagebrush on PS4

Why it should be on your radar:

Sagebrush is a great option for those of you who want to play an atmospheric game that can be finished in one sitting.

This first-person narrative adventure by Redact Games takes you to an abandoned ranch in remote New Mexico to investigate an apocalyptic cult. Explore the compound and pick up notes, recordings and belongings to learn more about the members and what happened to them. Not creepy at all…

4. eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 Demo

Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 on PS4

Why it should be on your radar:

If you’re excited about the next installment of Konami’s football sim, get a head start on the action by picking up the new demo. You can play as 13 different clubs including FC Barcelona, Manchester United and Juventus as you test local matches, couch co-op, quick matches and the Edit mode.

This week’s new pre-orders

1. MXGP 2019

Why it should be on your radar:

This lively motocross sim by Milestone launches later this month, but you can grab a few extra perks such as the Twilight Pack and a dynamic theme if you pre-order now. You’ll be able to take on the current MXGP World Championship for the first time in the series, along with all the official riders, bikes and teams of MXGP and MX2. (MXGP 2019 hits PS Store on 27th August, 2019.)

2. Concrete Genie

Why it should be on your radar:

Pixelopus’ vibrant action-adventure is perfect if you were one of those kids who just couldn’t resist the temptation of drawing on the living room walls. Cleanse a polluted, abandoned town stalked by a gang of bullies by drawing friendly creatures that come to life on its crumbling walls. (Concrete Genie launches on PS Store on 9th October, 2019.)

3. Greedfall

Why it should be on your radar:

Greedfall by Spiders is a gorgeous blend of RPG, fantasy, magic and 17th-century weaponry. It’s the perfect match for those of you who are up for a narrative adventure where you’re free to befriend (or savagely betray) companions and factions.

Explore new lands seeping with magic, secrets and fantastic creatures as you use diplomacy, deception or even force to shape the course of your story. (Greedfall hits PS Store on 10th September, 2019.)

AOW: Planetfall is pre-ordered for me (Hurry up, Amazon!), and X Multiply looks tasty to this old gamer, also.._

For whatever (possibly licensing),reason Hamster has never released the Arcade Archives original Wonderboy beyond a japanese ps4 release…but we now have a second helping of the horrid looking Wonderboy Returns in remix form!! Guessing the EU store doesn’t believe in more than one retro release a week, hence the missing Time Pilot icon…..and the lack of Battle Princess Madelyn!

“FromSoftware’s acclaimed third-person shooter from 2004”

I’m not exactly sure you’d call it… “acclaimed”…

Does Sagebrush come from the same team that made Firewatch? Looks as though it’s in a similar vein, which is good in my book!

Nah, those dudes are now part of Valve and are working on “In the Valley of Gods”

Ok thanks

X-Multiply! Yes! Been trying to get this on Saturn but was unwilling to pay absurd prices. I was lucky to buy Hyperduel for around £70 CIB (now it’s going for around £500!!!).

Genesis removed from the list? So it is not comming tomorrow?

I guess not

News update Time Pilot not on the store know they took it away than fixing it lol 😂. I like know who I’m charge playstation from Europe.

That’s how Sony Europe works, unfortunately.

Back when the PSTV was announced the game Valkyria Chronicles 2 was on the official European whitelist, meaning it should work on the PSTV. I bought a PSTV, but instead the game wouldn’t even launch like it wasn’t on the whitelist. I sent Sony a message about this, and instead of fixing the problem, they removed the game from the whitelist.

The PSTV was a noticeable worse product in Europe because of this, plenty of games that worked fine in North America (like the PSP Final Fantasy games) wouldn’t work here because of the worse whitelist. But Sony Europe didn’t care about supporting their product, and it seems like they still don’t.
