Plus new Rose Gold Edition headset also launches later this year

Check out the new Electric Purple, Red Camouflage, Titanium Blue, and Rose Gold Dualshock 4 wireless controller colours for the first time ever!

The Dualshock 4 wireless controller family has grown so much since its launch almost six years ago, as we’ve introduced more than 25 colours, ranging from classic Jet Black and Wave Blue to the eclectic Sunset Orange and Red Crystal.

Today, we’re excited to reveal four new colours being added to our growing lineup to help you play in style starting this autumn, including:

  • Electric Purple
This vibrant new colour features a two-tone purple design with white PlayStation shapes for added contrast.
  • Red Camouflage
Black, red and brown take on the iconic controller camouflage pattern paired with silver detailing for extra flare.
  • Titanium Blue
A metallic top cover with light blue detailing is complemented by a matte blue back with this new addition to our metallic line.
  • Rose Gold
A gold metallic finish and subtle rose hue offers a sleek and sophisticated metallic option.

Rose gold, finally!

That Titanium Blue is looking very nice!

Ieuw, Rose Gold looks absolutely atrocious :)

Out of these 4 I guess I like Titanium Blue the most, but I don’t like any of them in particular.

Always good to get more colours, though.

Slow down Sony, you should have waited for Gamescom to announce this. But seriously though, who wants to place bets that Microsoft is going to announce Xbone controller #35,628 at their Gamescom xbox inside thing?

Uh, I think they already did that – announced a new Elite for £160.

Which you could save for a new console instead…

It’s about time you added an official pink controller.

Really wish the Platinum headphones would get a redesign like the Golds already, the hinges need to go.

Steel Black>anything. I wish i could own ps pro with same color.

The purple one needs to come with a chocolate bar.

Funny. I was just thinking how nice the Cadbury purple was. With your Austrian flag you were probably thinking Milka!

Definitely purchasing the red camouflage 😊 to go with my other 3 camouflage ds4’s!

So exactly when would red camouflage be used? Are we preparing for a war on mars?

It’s for when you’re leopard crawling through hot embers or a massive puddle of blood of course.

Finaly something elegant. Although I never liked the design of the headset.

Because it’s everything except elegant.

But it’s a step forward.

I also never understood why it takes so long to put a little paint on a joystick. And make such a fuss about it. It’s not a car or a coat that you take out every day to show off. Why wait to give people something to fit in the home design?

Some good colours but only someone with a broken controller will be considering these with PS5 around the corner. The extra ~£45.00 is a good wedge towards the outlay of a new console.

There’s even a “leak” that states we could be seeing PS5 as early as February 2020. (I’m not believing it yet though as we don’t even know PS5’s full specs.)

Would be nice to know where we can actually get them, I’ve found the Red Camo on GAME.co.uk and the Rose Gold one on Amazon.co.uk but I can’t find the Titanium Blue or Electric Purple up for pre-order anywhere in the UK.

Really fancy the Purple one.
