These are your new PlayStation Store releases this week

Highlights include Borderlands 3, eFootball PES 2020, NHL 20, GreedFall and Blasphemous

We’re starting this week with another action-packed slate of titles launching on PlayStation Store. Enter a mayhem-fueled world in Borderlands 3, explore a magical land in GreedFall and embark on a dark fantasy adventure in Blasphemous.

You can finally dig into Gearbox Software’s long-awaited FPS sequel, featuring the series’ signature over-the-top combat, quirky characters, a crazed cult and tonnes of precious loot to track down. Blast your way across the lawless land of Pandora with a huge arsenal of wacky weapons and four all-new customisable Vault Hunters, each with their own unique skills.

If you’re up for a narrative adventure that won’t make all the decisions for you, make sure to pick up this gorgeous blend of RPG, fantasy and magic by Spiders. Use diplomacy, deception or even force to shape the course of your story as you uncover new lands seeping with magic, secrets and fantastical creatures.

Why it should be on your radar:
Konami is back with a new entry in its football franchise featuring dynamic dribbling skills, first touch techniques and advanced ball physics. The Master League experience has also been upgraded with a new interactive dialogue system, an updated menu design and a more realistic transfer market. Get ready for kick-off!

Blasphemous


Why it should be on your radar:
Those of you who aren’t the squeamish type should pick up this brutal Metroidvania-style adventure, featuring fast-paced combat, a deep narrative and gorgeous pixel art. Enter a dark and brutal fantasy world as The Penitent One, the sole survivor of the massacre of the Silent Sorrow and owner of an impressive pointy hat. Explore a hellish world as you hack-and-slash your way through non-linear levels with beautifully grotesque bosses.

NHL 20


Why it should be on your radar:
You can finally return to the ice rink and climb to the top in the world of professional hockey with EA’s latest entry in the NHL series. This instalment features new game modes such as Eliminator pitting 81 players against each other in a battle royale-inspired winner-takes-all competition. If you want to get a bit of a head start on the hockey action, you can get three days early access with the Ultimate and Deluxe editions from 10th September.**
