These are your new PlayStation Store releases this week

Shenmue III, Sid Meier's Civilization VI, Golem and more all debut

With this week’s new PlayStation Store’s releases, transform a primitive tribe into the world’s most powerful nation, continue a long-awaited journey of revenge, or seek out fortune and glory in a treacherous fantasy setting.

And even if none of those adventures – be it Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, Shenmue III or Golem – appeal, there are plenty more games to choose from.

Take a look at the highlights, as well as the full list of the week’s releases, below*.

Shenmue III | Available: Tuesday 19th November

Why it should be on your radar:

A journey 18 years in the making, Yu Suzuki’s sequel promises to retain much of the flavour that made its predecessors so groundbreaking on their debut. The continuation of Ryo Hazuki’s journey to avenge his father will give fans exactly what they’ve been clamouring for these past two decades.

Golem |Available: Monday 18th November

Why it should be on your radar:

Highwire Games’ ambitious fantasy adventure finally launches on PS VR. It sees you pilot a golem warrior as you explore a vast city, one that hides treasure and danger in equal measure.

The threat of losing all your collectables upon death heightens the tension of exploration and adds an additional edge to first-person melee combat, which favours strategic strikes and careful blocking over mindless button-mashing.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI | Available: Friday 22nd November

Why it should be on your radar:

Firaxis Games, the studio behind the excellent XCOM games, trades alien invasions for world-building as it brings its turn-based strategy expertise to the acclaimed Civilization series. The PS4 release packs in all the updates and additional societies that have been added to the PC version post-launch.

Cuisine Royale back for a third time. This time as a beta! Let’s see if it makes it to the store….

Yeah, they are truely terrible in making their release date.

Yeah good game that. Nice surprise.

Narcos isn’t multiplayer unfortunately 😔 that would have been super cool against mates.

Um, Ryza came out almost 3 weeks ago… EU blog pls…

4.1

The free dlc deal end, so they re release the game again.

My God! No Fight´N Rage this week again?

shemnue 3 for me but haven’t updated dlcs on store so what happened.

Lost Ember looks interesting. 🤔I can’t normally play first person games, but I’m so desperate for some sniper stealth that I might have to risk Ghost Warrior Contracts.

In The Hunt for me yet another great week for the Arcade Archives just to let all you Archives fans know Hyper Sports has been confirmed as an up-coming title Long live the Arcade Archives but still no Vigilante

What about Bomb Jack? It was released on the Japanese and North American Playstation Store back in 2015 or someting, but still isn’t here in Europe.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually slightly prefer Hyper Sports to Track and Field so can’t wait to play that again.

8.3

If you really must have Bombjack get it off the JPN PSN or on Switch. Word of warning – the arcade game’s music has been removed for copyright and replaced with the console version’s.

So Cuisine Royale is actually in the store now, but only the beta. Full release december 3rd as a free to play.

Why did the main picture change from a collage of four games to just Shenmue? Did one of the other three games fall through the PS EU crack in space and time?

Me too. The ones I’ve been looking forward to the most are In The Hunt and Detana Twin Bee.

They’re usually there first thing in morning. Often findable using the searchbox before they probably appear on the store main page. But it’s not. So yeah…

Should have been up load as of Midnight GMT 21st November 2019 being as passionate as i am About the Archives series i stayed up to the witching hour only to be bitterly disappoint to the fact that they have not uploaded the content in its place a load of Indie Rubbish going to do the same tonight if not i am heading to the Jap Store where it has been released.

It looked good long this week, but come Thursday, and three announced games failed to show. Titeuf, In the Hunt, and Trax. Maybe tomorrow, maybe never. Who knows.

I’ll just buy it on Switch later. Nice one Sony!
