Shopto selling it all cheaper, controllers are £29.95, you’d think buying directly from Sony it would be a little more competitive in pricing…

2.1

These are deals in partnership with retailers, if some retailers can go even lower is because they want to differentiate. These are not sold directly by Sony.

It say it right there in the bottom

No deals on PS Now subs?

Yes. A while ago. Sixty a year.

Oh here we go again. It’s the 5 euros more than the US sale again where everything is marked up 5 euros or more compared to what the US get.

You know Sony that’s frigging great.

Charge the US 9.99 for Playstation Hits and in Europe it’s 14.99.

Like how is that frigging fair?

Why are we the ones being milked and taken for a ride all the time Sony?

Why do you think that is fair?

We’re the ones who likely bought the majority of your consoles yes that’s right Europe yet we get treated like second class citizens and price ripped off with games all the time and Sony thinks that’s fine they won’t mind.

Well we do mind and I speak by my wallet by not buying.

Yet again another attempt at ripping us off just like the Days of Play sale.

We’ve had enough of this unfairness.

Brexit!!

I think US prices do not include VAT, cause there noone is obliged to..

4.3

At most sales taxes are 20%. If you added “sales tax” of 20% to the cost of a US $9.99 hits game it would be $11.98 (or €10.88) in Europe.

As a European hits title (converted to dollars) is $16.50, or 72% more expensive, it’s unlikely taxes can be blamed alone.

5

How much is that in real money (€)?

If you switch to the German version of this site there’s a much more in depth article with the prices.

It’s pretty shocking (not really) how minimal the English one is in comparison.

Spiderman only £13.99 at Argos and Curry’s/PC World. Cheaper than the ps store. UK only.

12 months of PlayStation plus on sale for £31.85 at ShopTo. Cheaper than the ps store. UK only.

(Was £29.85 last week when i topped up my account) And to be fair it’s only that cheap cos it’s doing it’s usual discount on top of the PSN black friday sale price too. So i still thankful to Sony for the PS Plus sale. But yeah. :)

It’s back up to £34.85 today. ‘So glad I bought two for £29.85 each now.

*Retailer price may vary. You can bet on that.

So if Concrete Genie is included in this sale why has the PS store price not been reduced as well?

Why is there such massive price disparity between US and EU stores sale pricing on some games? Eg. Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet Complete Edition is $21 on the US store but £30 on the UK store… to say nothing of this item being reduced to £10(!!!) on Xbox One for BF. Days Gone also is similarly overpriced vs the US store. And no, VAT doesn’t come close to explaining the huge differential here.

And again PS3 and Vita stores are actively ignored by you but not other region PS stores during this sale. Why? You’ve been going out of your way to not acknowledge Vita on blog posts for a while now… Why just the EU blog but none of the others?

You have made an absolute mess of this entire promotion. It’s literally unbelievable how badly Sony Europe have treated customers compared to other branches of Sony over this period. You’re going to find people’s noticing of all of these ‘little’ ...

You’re going to find people’s noticing of all of these ‘little’ mis-steps are going to add up when you’re trying to sell them a new console next year.

CDkeys have GoW (US PSN) for £7.
