Howdy.
For the full list of content you know what to do, scroll down for the rundown. This week (and every week from now on actually) I’ll be mentioning a few bits of content I think may be of particular interest to you. It’s obvious that there are various pockets of different users visiting the store, and it’s our job to try and make sure there’s a good mixture of content available, so whilst there won’t always be something for everyone every week, I think we’re offering a very diverse range of content to suit most people’s tastes.
Anyway, onto the content; this week we see the Bayonetta demo released to our collective shores, and it’s garnering high praise from various sources (I had to double check when I saw the 10 score given by Edge – as it’s such a rare occurrence these days) so this seems to be definitely worth checking out, especially for fans of games such as Devil May Cry.
For the sports fans among you, in particular fans of the ‘sweet science’, there are additional boxers, and modes released for Fight Night Round 4 – Hopkins, Holyfield and Liston are great additions to the roster (but personally I’d especially love to see David Haye added at some point too) J
For anybody who finds Veteran difficulty on Modern Warfare 2 far too easy, then you would have probably checked out Operation Flashpoint already and the additional pack Dragon Rising Skirmish releases today adding extra multiplayer maps and FTE missions to test your skills further.
Finally a quick mention of our latest batch of Special Offers, we have five PS3 titles and five PSP titles at reduced prices for two weeks, then from the 17th of December we will have a glut of promotions in celebration of Christmas. Full details below…

Again a bit lacking on the PSone Classic front, I’d like to see who at Sony thinks Peter Pan is considered a classic… Also, what’s happening with Vagrant Story?
Posted on 3 December, 2009 at 4:39 pm by Mike Kebby
Vagrant Story should be with us fairly soon.

Thx Mike! Will be picking up Last Guy at that price and Killzone Liberation looks mighty tempting too.
And good to see Disney’s continued support at releasing classics. Puts other publishers to shame.
Cheers.

Posted on 3 December, 2009 at 4:12 pm by addyjones1234
for god sake guys sony don’t control the ps1 classics, the publishers/devs do, the sooner you lot get that into you heads the better this place will be, mike posts here every weeks and just gets pelters because the ps1 classic isnt good, imo todays update is ok, uncharted motion comics, LBP PSP demo, bayonetta demo, the last guy reduced psp games reduced….
a few things for me today:)

Posted on 3 December, 2009 at 4:12 pm by fords30
Hi.
Posting from the PS3 so apologies in advance if it all looks messed up.
Anyway, thanks again for the update.
I wish people would understand that SCEE don’t pick and choose which PS1 titles get released onto the PlayStation Store. They can only sell what the developers/publishers submit to them. e.g. If Capcom decide that they don’t want to submit Resident Evil 1/2 for release in SCEE territories, then there’s not a lot SCEE can do about it.
Regardless, do you have any news on Braid?
It was released a few weeks back on the US PlayStation Store..I spoke to the guys at Hothead Games and they informed me that the game had been submitted to SCEE etc. I assume it’s going through localisation and such, but any idea when we can expect it?
Thanks again.

Hello Mike
Do you know if and when Star Trek D.A.C will be available.
Cheers

Posted on 3 December, 2009 at 4:13 pm by devilmaker
Good thing I have an American account or I still wouldn’t have Ad-Hoc party. Its december guys. Was there a hitch getting it approved (Because its an app, not a game)?
Oh, but to also keep it positive… good to see an LBP demo as well as practically a 50% cut for KZ: Liberation, nice!

Killzone, £8. Bargain! Can’t wait to see what other offers come in the lead up to xmas.
But…
Mike do you know WHERE F1 2009 is and if at all it is coming?
If you know nothing please just say that but for 2 weeks you have ignored the question and I personally am holding off the UMD waiting for this game to come on PSN.

Posted on 3 December, 2009 at 4:15 pm by Mattiebo123
i was just looking through the update, a bit disapointed, then i saw the LBP PSP demo :O
47
Posted on 3 December, 2009 at 4:15 pm by newsky87
You’re lucky Mr Mike! Was getting ready to kick off if the LitteBigPlant PSP demo didn’t make an appearance considering the yankee doodles already got it. The free NFS Shift & Bayoneta demo scores you extra points as well, but the Assassin’s Creed 2 outfit for LBP PS3 probably makes you my favourite person in the entire world!
Posted on 3 December, 2009 at 4:47 pm by Mike Kebby
What do I get then for being your favourite person
I jest, I jest – cheques to…

Posted on 3 December, 2009 at 4:15 pm by FBZ1501
Yeah i reckon they should have dished out some all time classic PS1 games on the store to mark the big 15th anniversary.
Saying that i have given up on ps1 games as it’s taken years just to get FFVII and MGS, can’t be bothered waiting for any more.
Braid would have been nice though, at least Shooter is next week.
Where’s the Trophy patch for fLow?

another disney game?
somebody is, as my grandad would say, “extracting the urine”.
and when are the general ps3 owning populace going to be able to get their hands on the gow3 demo?
we still don’t have any confirmation of the gow collection ever being released in europe yet do we?
