Howdy.
For the full list of content you know what to do, scroll down for the rundown. This week (and every week from now on actually) I’ll be mentioning a few bits of content I think may be of particular interest to you. It’s obvious that there are various pockets of different users visiting the store, and it’s our job to try and make sure there’s a good mixture of content available, so whilst there won’t always be something for everyone every week, I think we’re offering a very diverse range of content to suit most people’s tastes.
Anyway, onto the content; this week we see the Bayonetta demo released to our collective shores, and it’s garnering high praise from various sources (I had to double check when I saw the 10 score given by Edge – as it’s such a rare occurrence these days) so this seems to be definitely worth checking out, especially for fans of games such as Devil May Cry.
For the sports fans among you, in particular fans of the ‘sweet science’, there are additional boxers, and modes released for Fight Night Round 4 – Hopkins, Holyfield and Liston are great additions to the roster (but personally I’d especially love to see David Haye added at some point too) J
For anybody who finds Veteran difficulty on Modern Warfare 2 far too easy, then you would have probably checked out Operation Flashpoint already and the additional pack Dragon Rising Skirmish releases today adding extra multiplayer maps and FTE missions to test your skills further.
Finally a quick mention of our latest batch of Special Offers, we have five PS3 titles and five PSP titles at reduced prices for two weeks, then from the 17th of December we will have a glut of promotions in celebration of Christmas. Full details below…

Should I wait for the Pinball Williams, or should I buy it on UMD? I want to support digital download, but it looks, that Williams Pinball (released 2 weeks ago and still not on PSN) will not avaliable on PSN.

This is what’s killing me too, without Pro Evo I’ve got no interest in keeping my Go – and if major franchises aren’t making it to the store, it’ll be dead as platform before too long anyway, so I’m considering trading it in while it’s still worth something.
“guys i just checked my store and the sale prices are there they have been since last night…..”
Not for me, on either Media Go or the PSP store, Gangs and Killzone are still £14.99.

I hope KAZ read our commets here, i was told on twitter things will differently approve nope not yet.
this is aim @ kaz your SCEE is a joke, your region system is a joke 3 different region battle it out for more content
trying to out-done it other where the globel universal market system like hazil has said, get rid of SCEE mike told us we got a small team that‘s the problem.

Thanks for the recommendation chicken, but as I’m in two minds whether to keep the Go right now, I’m debating whether it’s really worth buying another game that I’ll possibly not be able to play in a week’s time.

My gf should be getting my a go 2mrw for my birthday, but with this nonsense i will be looking for somethin other than a go.
Not to mention the retarded pricing on PSN, how is Tiger woods 09(31.99) priced higher than Tiger woods 2010(29.99)? Who’s amazing logic is this.
09 is more or less obsolete with the release of a newer version, why isnt the price slashed or just take it off the store. Fifa09 UMD is 9.75 but on PSN it’s 29.99. I can understand fifa10 being 29.99 but not an outdated game thats a year old.
The lack of info from Konami and Sony regarding the release of PES on the store is infuriating. I fail to see how silence helps the situation?

so maybe europe has a small team and that’s why we don’t get much content.
i say why.
why has scee got such a small team? that one man in a shed image is coming back again.
the region with undeniably the largest region and with without a doubt the largest number of users seems to get the smallest team, i bet japan, who were third place in market size behind the uk during this year, have a bigger team.
not saying that the us or japan shouldn’t have big teams, but we should also.
the fact is the small team scee has is simply not adequate.
far be it from me to say scee don’t know how to do their job but have they not thought of hiring more staff?
if the small size of the team is the problem.
but i doubt they will, because there’s an air of corporate apathy around scee.

Poor! Why out of hundreds of PS1 games and the current back catalog of PSP games do PSP Go owners get the lowest scoring games and so few?!?!?!? Every week you say ‘gotta cater for all audiences’ which I understand but one lousy PS1 classic a week and the fodder of the platform to date? Not to mention the shambles which is the rewards scheme! I got into the current generation in just September and so far I’ve been really disappointed, what happened to the quality of the PS1&2 era that Sony ruled with? I don’t see it now!
You may think i’m just an angry fan but its annoying to fork out so much cash for a qualty systems and have so many poor titles to play on it, not the fault of the publisher but because Sony can’t run a decent online store!
Pull your socks up!!

Still no Jeanne D’Arc for PSP!
I believe there is a real feeling of disappointment and lack of support for those customers, like myself, who have purchased a PSP Go.
Granted, we bought it with full knowledge that we were limiting ourselves to games available through the PSN store, but i also think it was done with faith that SCEE would provide games in a timely manner, with availability prices compeditive with what we would expect from retail stores. i don’t think this has been achieved.
The constant complaints regarding delayed PSN releases and rediculous prices on the blog is a testiment to this.
i still have faith that things will improve, but i think the PSP Go has been poorly executed for the early adopters…
Just my two cents.

..Peter Pan?
US gets Oddworld, Silent Hill, Resident Evil….and we get Peter Pan..
This has gone beyond a joke. Why are developers dodging giving their best games to the EU???? C’mon Mike, there must be SOMETHING on the grapevine as to why the US and JP get stellar treatment and we’re treated like f**king dogs!!!!!

Hi Mike,
1. Will there be a possible special offer on Monster Hunter Freedom Unite again?
2. Will FF7 Crisis Core be downloadable on PSN?
3. When will Final Fantasy Dissidia be out in the UK?
4. Is it possible for UMD downloadable games to be cheaper in future? (We can get Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on UMD for £18 and why £32 price tag for the download version?).
I do see lots of potential in PSP Go but games really need to be cheaper and larger catalouge of games is required to encourage potential buyers to purchase the Go. If only all UMD based games are available on PSN, I’m confident PSP Go will do better. I for one wish that PSP Go will never ever be hacked to encourage developers to develop quality games for the PSP platform (look at PS3).
I have just gotten my hands on a PSP Go and I’m struggling to find decent and fairly priced downloadable games on the UK PSN. I wouldn’t want to link my PSP Go to a US account (though I’m posting with my US account).
I look forward to receiving your reply and many thanks for your time in reading this.
Cheers.

so i guess we’ve stopped recieving responses from the team since page 5. surely if you are getting at least 8+ pages of comments with numerous suggestion/idea’s/frustrations you would be using this as amunition to get things done. like if the HQ in japan said no to something you could drop them 8 pages of comment from each weekly update this year to argue your cause.
i just get the distinct impression that the focus of this blog and Sony Europe as a whole is misplaced even with the amount of angry comments posted. i also think there’s a lazy element to it too. it’s alright jetting of to japan to get a look at the new pixel junk game but surely wouldnt it have been easier to get tehm to send you some media to post up so that you could focus on other tasks just as important. just smacks of mismangement through the whole of SCEE really. I also wonder if SCEE are also embarrased when a 3rd party pubisher posts a blog entry up and has a look round the site only to see these threads asking them same things with little or no response and nothing actively being done about the issue?
