Hello everyone,
It is my pleasure to announce that Killzone 3 is out in stores this week. After two years of hard work by the talented developers at Guerrilla, we are thrilled to bring you the most intensely immersive first-person action game the PlayStation 3 has ever seen. Killzone 3 has become a true showcase piece for the PlayStation 3, making full use of its considerable capabilities – including stereoscopic 3D and PlayStation Move compatibility. And with support for the PlayStation Move sharp shooter, Killzone 3 is accessible to experienced and casual players alike.
I would like to take a moment to extend my gratitude to the fans in the Killzone community, who have supported and cheered us on over the course of Killzone 3′s development, and to everyone who participated in the online multiplayer beta trials, for helping us make Killzone 3 the best game
possible. We hope you enjoy it, and we look forward to seeing you in Killzone 3′s online multiplayer mode.
Now, without further ado – go out and buy it!
Hermen Hulst
Managing Director, Guerrilla Games

Congrats on release Gurrelia!
Im sure the two years of solid work will pay off,
As for the trailer, it was more “montage” than trailer, and the music was horrible, didnt really fit at all unlike your last trailer which was amazing!
Once again, Congrats!

I hope the game does well guys, but that’s a truly awful launch trailer. It makes the game look like Gritty McManly Grimdark Shootans 4, but I’ll still be buying it.

I loved Killzone 2, but playing the demo for KZ3 put me off, at least for a little while. The Helghast are villains basically because the game says so, when so far in my eyes it’s pretty much proven that the ISA are in the wrong. Playing as the bad guy in games like inFamous is fun because it knows you’re being bad, but when the game believes you’re the good guy it doesn’t have quite the same feeling.

My Helghast Edition is currently on it’s way. I’m working while Monday though, which means the GF will have completed the SP before I even get my hands on it.
Trailer looks nice (even if I had to turn the music off).

”Killzone 3 is accessible to experienced and casual players alike.”
More the casual player this time around
Next year it will be called Kodzone 4 with superfast light controls that even your gran could play :Shame:
I loved Killzone for what it was. It isn’t that any more.

@TrulyALie Did you play the 1st Killzone? The Helghast 1st invaded Earth. ISA fought back at Helghan in 2 but failed for the most part. Now trying to survive in Helghan in the 3rd installment

I can’t believe how good the game looks. Congratulations GG, you really raised the bar with this. There’s so much amazing talent in sony’s first party studios, it’s really impressive.

The Killzone 3 story trailer was amazing. This however, is pathetic. It makes the game look like cheap action flick. Maybe that’s what it is (I wont know until I finish playing it this weekend). This trailer is an example of why games are never taken seriously.
The EU killzone TV ad is also horrendous. Who the hell are you actually marketing this game at? 12 year olds with ADHD? Come on guys. You have Malcolm McDowell as a voice actor and he isn’t in the trailers or anything.
The Killzone 3 story trailer was one of the best trailers ever for a video game but then these abominations were made.

I played the beta and got quite high, and the story demo was brilliant. I have been waiting for this since I heard about its release and then when I heard it was coming out on my birthday I was even more pleased, so thanks Guerrila games for a fantastic birthday!

Ugh, that music was absolutely terrible. Really poor choice to market the game. It was so bad I didn’t bother watching the whole trailer. The Justice trailer music was so much more better and fitting. Oh and if you guys make a KZ4 try not to copy CoD. Mix the shooting people in the face with something truly dramatic or shocking or though provoking, not B grade action flick fodder. Watch some classic/modern war movies and take cues from that instead.

Thank you Guerrilla Games for the best FPS ever made! I can confirm that Killzone 3 with Move is absolutely fantastic!! I actually bought Move just for Killzone 3 (and some other games i have downloaded etc) I got KZ3 on monday, and it took me a couple of days to adjust to controlling it with Move, but now i can’t imagine any other way! Now, playing with the Dualshock feels almost unfamiliar. I highly recommend everyone get Killzone 3 with Move!!

That trailer is a.. departure in every way from earlier ones. Music is great, footage is great, game looks stunning – but the rather upbeat music doesn’t fit with the bleak Killzone milieu, and the editing feels like it’s done by Michael Bay on speed. The trailer would be great for MotorStorm, but doesn’t really work with KZ.
As for the game, I’m on the fence. I really enjoyed KZ2, especially multiplayer. I’ll wait for the reviews to come to see if it has something to offer to a hardcore FPS veteran.

Trailer looks nice but I did prefer that classical piece of music from the trailer on the official site. Any who, friday is Killzone 3 day!
