If you were one of the hundreds of thousand of fans that tuned into our E3 2011 PlayStation press conference, you may have caught Naughty Dog‘s Community Strategist Arne Meyer give viewers a full demo of UNCHARTED 3‘s cruise ship sequence, a tense scenario that married technical prowess and high action as Drake struggled to escape the doomed vessel.
Today, Naughty Dog has returned with another epic reveal. Spread the word: the PlayStation.Blog is the only place you’ll find HD video of the airstrip sequence from the gamescom PlayStation press event. For an added bonus, Arne and I discuss the challenges behind keeping UNCHARTED 3 as spoiler-free as possible, and how specific sequences are deliberately designed to reveal new game mechanics, story and characters at specific milestones in the game’s development process.

The trailer was incredible.. Sucked me right in with just 2 minutes of footage.. The first uncharted didn’t have me completely sold, but the second one was just epic.. Just one of the best third person games in general.. It can only get better from here on out I guess, although the beta had me a little disappointed because it felt so different from uncharted 2 in some ways..

Uncharted 2 was absolutely epic. Uncharted 3 has a lot to live up to and i’m sure naughty dog know that too.

I’m going to hate Uncharted if they won’t make J&D because of Uncharted. Loved Uncharted 2 probally going to buy Uncharted 3 when it’s €30-€40 in stores.

Does anyone know if the explorers edition is exclusive to gamestop in the UK?
I hope not as they want the £104 up front to preorder it!
Buying on release anyway looks awesome.

@OGSamir Buy your game in de UK and you just pay 42 euro for the game day 1. And YES they said they will do only 1 franchise per console generation and NO J&D is not more popular, Uncharted is (serieus where did you get that information, dud?).

It looks amazing & the BETA was great but none of us have played the full game yet to state whether it truly is great or not (Which it probably is!)

Penguin is stating the truth, as in a recent interview Naughty Dog stated that they concentrate on one franchise per console & Uncharted is the PS3 franchise.
Naughty Dog openly stated “NO JAK & DAXTER”.
Crap I know, but hopefully they will at least listen to the fans & release a HD collection, including JAKX & the new Last Frontier one!

I was really looking foreward to uc3 but the beta kinda dissapointed me mainly the graphics and levels but hopefully they fix that in the full game

Uncharted Is a game that will always be special, Naughty Dog never disappoint as they keep making each sequel Bigger and Better! Kudos they work hard with great creative talent… I can’t wait till November U3 is going to be one Massive Epic Adventure!
Uncharted 4 will be made as long as fans demand for it… Definitely a franchise that deserves to keep getting sequels.
PS4 would take it to the next level but whenever Sony plans to shed light on it is to be seen.
