Does Borderlands GOTY edition include the game itself? I downloaded it via PS PLUS while it was a part of instant collection few months ago and bought GOTY edition today. However there is still expiration date for the game.
Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 2:23 pm by Chris Howe
yes the game itself is included, what expration date does it say?

I read somewhere that Atlus where having a sale on the EU PSN store with 50% off all the prices today.
If it’s true, why is it not on the list?

Hey Chris,
Dunno if you would handle this, but the price is a bit off for Borderlands 2 in the ZA store.
Everything else seems right.
Usually, works out to roughly 1 Euro = R10
The DLC and the Season pass, and everything else for last few months work like this, except border lands 2 now.
R339 when its 2.99 Euro.
Not the end of the world, still worth it, but could this be a mistake? Maybe your ZA liaison is taking a little extra cut this time?
Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 2:36 pm by Chris Howe
It’s all a little complicated but it is all to do with the discount and exchange rates but I will ask the store team to look into it just to double check

Edit on 55:
“Usually, works out to roughly 1 Euro = R10″
More like Exactly, not roughly

Does anyone know if Everybodys golf world tour comes complete with the up to date patches for multiplayer. I have been unable to update using its abysmal update system for years and it would be worth that price just to get multiplayer back.
And on a similar note, would my current save be compatible?

why has plus got the same theme in plus but for the psp this time when are we getting some new avatrs ?
61
Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 1:40 pm by Alan2112
@johnnyquicknives your single player save might be ok but your online profile will probably reset, i upgraded to a slim when they came out and it reset my online profile even though i transferred everything from my 60gb to the slim. Kinda put me off playing it then, might pick it up for this price, great game. Ya the updates are pretty bad, nearly as bad as metal gear online was.

Wanted to pick up The Darkness 2 & Spec Ops: The Line but the extra PS Plus discount has disappeared from Spec Ops since the FW update for the Store… Any idea why Chris?
Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 2:43 pm by Chris Howe
As the post above says they have come out of the sale today. This happens when the store update is completed so this has already taken place

Hey, after I was upset about the discounts of the last week I`m very excited about this week`s discounts. Finally there are some Vita-Discounts and I’ll buy some of them. But you should go on with the discounts for vita!!!
For example you could also start a PSP-Sale with games that a playable on both systems like Persona, 3rd Birthday or Final Fantasy IV. I never owned a PSP and it would be great to catch up and play some of PSP Games
PS:The discount for Borderlands 2 and the Season Pass are great either.

I must say that the discounts for Borderlands 2 are really impressive, Chris
Do you think you can manage anything for WipEout 2048 (Vita) as either a discount in the Vita sale or as part of the Plus IGC?
Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 2:45 pm by Chris Howe
We shall have to wait and see

I had no idea that Everybody’s Golf had Move support – Does that work with the disk version as well? I haven’t played it for a while so maybe it has been patched? I’m trying to figure out if I should download the complete edition, for that price it seems almost worth it

Why is Virtue’s Last Reward showing under January sale with no discount on it? Put at least 20% (+another 10% for PS+) and I’ll buy it in a heart beat …

Hi Chris, I already own Borderlands 2 and the season pass and would recommend others to pick it up at this bargain price. Also a question, Borderlands was part of the IGC last year so any chance of the DLC being in the sale separately as well as the GOTY version? Thanks.

Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 2:43 pm by PhilHR
Hi guys,
Great discounts, fantastic reductions on Borderlands 2!
But, I have to have a moan (bear with me)…
I bought the Season Pass for Borderlands 2 not long after release for £19.99.
At that time two of the DLC covered by the pass were already available for £7.99 each, so presuming the two DLC packs which were yet to be released would be priced similarly, I considered that paying £20 for £32 worth of content was good value. I went ahead and paid my money in good faith.
Now, the Season Pass has been reduced to £11.99 (fantastic value if you don’t already have it!) and the two DLCs covered by it are now £5.49 each with two yet to be released. This means that presumably the value of the two future DLC packs will be around £5.49 each, making the total value of the content covered by the pass around £22 if it were to be bought separately. My primary reason for buying in advance has just evaporated; a £3 saving ain’t quite so attractive as a £12 one!
83
Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 2:44 pm by PhilHR
My “beef” is this: I haven’t even received the four DLC packs I have paid for before the prices have been slashed. Had I known this would happen, I would not have been so inclined to part with my money so far in advance as I could have just bought the packs individually at the time of release for around a fiver each.
I’m certain I’m not the only person who this applies to so I felt it needed a mention.
To those of you who don’t already have Borderlands 2 and the Season Pass: Buy it! Buy it! Buy it!! It’s excellent value!!

“Hey guys! You asked for Vita sales? We have plenty of those this week! Look here … hey, wait! Where is everyone going to?”
Well, at least Borderlands 2 Season Pass should interest some people. Guess better than nothing. And I like those additional Plus discounts all around, good job there.
But seriously, where are those damn Plus avatars? 2 or 3 months now without any update. Chris has been asked dozens of times meanwhile. Fred promised twice to contact him too. And yet, he still dodges every single question and hasn’t dropped a single word on the topic. Not to mention not any avatars either.
God I miss Ross, that guy was far less complicated. You asked politely, you got a reply. You reported an issue or mistake, he at least confirmed it and if possible tried to solve it.
What is so damn complicated about those tiny avatars that you can’t even say “Oops, my mistake. Other things had priority. Sorry, won’t happen again.”
Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 2:53 pm by Chris Howe
avatars are not a priority for Plus at the moment, we are working on them but we would prefer to work on trying to secure excellent content for the Plus service first
85

so are we getting wrestlefest today what times the heads up?

Angry Birds Triology is showed in the psvita sectin. You should take it away.
87
Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 3:01 pm by Golwar
See Chris, I can accept that and most others probably too. As long as the games are indeed great.
I won’t even mention in detail that the WB games haven’t been great (with the exception of Batman of course), haha.
Another question. If you change avatars being a standard part of the Plus content, did anything change about the rotation too?
30.1 we should receive another 2 PS3 games in that 4 week rotation, yet nothing had been mentioned for that date in the announcement of the January content. Do we still get 2 games then and you’ll just announce them together with the other February content? Or did the rotation model change?
Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 3:44 pm by Chris Howe
I am trying to get it to a situation where we can drop in content on a more regular basis so you are all getting something fresh almost weekly but this will take time as we have existing contracts to complete.
We will be providing more details of the Feb content soon but I wil say that the next drop will be Feb 6th not 30th Jan

@Chris
Any chance the Kingdoms of Amalur DLC will be in this sale or another sale any time soon?
89
Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 3:19 pm by Izorpo
PulzAR is listed in the sale yet it isn’t on the store – not through the ps3 and not through the vita. Any reason why it was removed?
Virtue’s Last Reward is listed in the plus discounts section yet there is no discount
Also is it possible that Sound Shapes will be in the next sale?

Posted on 16 January, 2013 at 4:04 pm by Golwar
Thank you for the reply Chris Howe. I think you should mention that shift in the rotation model when you announce the February content.
As long as we see improvement and you are open about changes, people should usually accept it. And it is always better to be solve that via direct communication than to let your customers uncertain. And several will simply expect that the old rotation is still in action.

This is both good news (selfishly for me) and bad news, the Borderlands2 Season pass, firstly i am getting it, But i think it is wrong that i can, at that price so soon after it’s release. The people who’ve paid full price Still haven’t had all their content yet, But it’s allready nearly half price, that must hurt, i am sure there is older dlc/season pass, that you could of put up and would be met with similar approval, from customers, but i guess you’ve got something going on atm with 2K/publisher, getting the 1st Borderlands GoTY ed last week, now this. IF people are now going to see dlc’s or season passes on sales so early, i really doubt they’d be eager to risk buying any future dlc’s (or Games) for fear of seeing it drop in price, probably before they’ve even Started Their full priced versions, i guess i am saying, Yeah, brilliant offer, But your going to be sorry, as it Will make lots of future buyers too ‘weary’ to buy, Similar to the IGC ‘waiters’, ie people who’ve bought a Game only to see it added to plus. once, maybe twice bitten, forever shy, Still i bow to your marketing teams superior knowledge, as they obviously know something i/we don’t.

What would be really good would be to have the Black Ops 2 season pass on discount. Or possibly the resident evil games.

Awesome sale so far, but do you have any plans on putting Motorstorm RC (Complete?) on sale? Loved the demo but I want to know if I’m safe to buy it now or if you’re having to have it on sale soon. Thanks!

Just noticed, PulzAR doesn’t appear on the PSVita store.
In addition there are a whole bunch of mini’s (not mentioned here) on discount under the “PS Vita Plus” section.
Furthermore under Vita Sale there are 5 items, missing some of the ones mentioned here.

Will there be a discount on The Walking Dead anytime soon? I could have bought it when it was on sale on Steam, but I prefer my PS3. It has been on sale on all other platforms already, just not on PSN.

No Unfinished Swan. SCEE are completely useless.
