‘Heads-up’ PlayStation Store update, 6th February 2013

DeadSpace3_Hero_PVWIMG

Good afternoon everyone. Headlining this week’s update, Dead Space 3 brings Isaac Clarke and merciless soldier John Carver on a journey across space to discover the source of the Necromorph outbreak. Crash-landed on the frozen planet of Tau Volantis, Isaac must comb the harsh environment for raw materials and scavenged parts.

Play together with a friend or alone as Isaac Clarke using the seamless new drop in, drop out co-op functionality. Each mode offers unique story elements and gameplay.

When he’s not planning his next heist or tracking criminals across time, Sly Cooper likes to hang out with his pals in Bentley’s arcade. As well as being a gadget guru and master hacker, trusty sidekick Bentley is also a whizz at designing videogames – and you can try your hand at three of his creations with Bentley’s Hackpack.

Elsewhere on the store, we’re celebrating PS Vita‘s first birthday with a special sale – save up to 50% on selected titles! Find out what’s on offer here.

PlayStation Network New Content

Content may be added or removed, or move dates – please stay tuned to your weekly Store Update for the most up to date listings. Listed savings are approximate, based on SRP excluding Special Offer pricing and should be considered as a guide only.

PlayStation Plus

Note: Following the recent announcement that Sleeping Dogs will be available to PlayStation Plus members this month, the title will not be available to German consumers. Unfortunately we cannot confirm at this time what additional content will be available to German Plus members, however we are working on a solution and look forward to updating you soon. INS1GHTFUL 6 February, 2013 @ 3:04 pm   2

I’ll definitely buy Dead Space 3 at that price. Bargain
#sarcasm

Chocobo115 6 February, 2013 @ 3:05 pm   3

Aww was expecting bigger discounts on the Sleeping Dog DLC, expected at least 50% on the extra story DLC, will have to wait longer then.

Btw are there any jRPG classics on the horizon from either PS1 or PS2?

CoolRichy008UK 6 February, 2013 @ 3:06 pm   4

DONT GET F1 RACESTARS you cant drift round corners AVOID IT

theicebucket 6 February, 2013 @ 3:07 pm   5

Hello, is Alien Breed cross buy? And does the discount on “Alien Breed Impact” relate to “Alien Breed”. Thanks

Carnivius_Prime 6 February, 2013 @ 3:08 pm   6

Bought Alien Breed a couple hours ago which is good and I’m downloading a couple of the Plus freebies (Sleeping Dogs and F1 Stars) though they don’t appeal to me that much. I might get that Bentley game too since it’s cheap. Wonder why we don’t have Sly 4 though when the US got it last night. Also they’ve had Guilty Gear XX for a lil while and I’ve been waiting for that.

When is Wipeout Fusion and YouTube coming?

Jawad, please answer the following question!

Is Aliens: Colonial Marines also getting digital release on PSN ?

If so, when ?

(international release is 12th February)

Shou_Kobayashi 6 February, 2013 @ 3:09 pm   9

Nice that we ae getting Bentley’s Hackpack, while Europe is still waiting until the 27th of march for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time…

It’s so cheap, is this a mini title, or does it have trophies?

Nemeth050506 6 February, 2013 @ 3:09 pm   10

You lied on us again. No Sleeping Dogs for Germans. Well, I think we don`t get anything else. And if we get something it will be a crappy lego game.
Good advice: before promising something check first whether you can keep up with your promises.
Good advice 2: before offering a game that isn’t available in somer regions think of replacement for this regions BEFORE and not AFTER you are offering the game.

greg97228 6 February, 2013 @ 3:09 pm   11

Wouah Sleeping Dogs Thanks.
But when games like Sports Champions and Eye Pet on Playstation Plus? To revive a little interest Move

EccentricJon 6 February, 2013 @ 3:11 pm   12

Hey Jawad.
Are we ever going to get the Castle Crashers Blacksmith (Purple Knight) pack, or the one with Hatty?
Cheers mate.

GametimeUK 6 February, 2013 @ 3:11 pm   13

Are we going to be getting Counter Strike any time this year? It hasn’t officially been canned so I am still anticipating its release.

zakdude100 6 February, 2013 @ 3:11 pm   14

1)when will we get the sly cooper thieves in time demo?
2)can we get the sly cooper thieves in time early access demo as well? because we missed out on that in europe and the U.S has the full game now, so we need something to keep us going.
thanks in advance

Confused. What’s the difference between…

Add-On Pack 8 Pro: Twilight Zone (£6.49/€7.99)
Pro Version Upgrade: Twilight Zone (£3.99/€4.99)
Table Pack 8: Twilight Zone (£3.99/€4.99)

? Cheers!

CreditDue 6 February, 2013 @ 3:12 pm   16

Can someone please explain to me why in the U.S. their PSN store games are sold for the same price as instore, but we have to pay anything from £10 to £25 extra? It’s borderline pathetic

Also in the web store, PS Home Arcade and Wake Up Clock says it’s for PS3, but it’s actually for PS Vita. Are you looking into this matter?

A_Nonny_Moose 6 February, 2013 @ 3:14 pm   18

£35 for EDF and then paid DLC on top of that?

That Bentley picture got me all excited for a Sly demo. Nice to have all the Sleeping Dogs DLC discounted. There’s way too much of it but since I’m getting the game at no extra cost I might get the story related stuff.

Also, being a Plus member in Germany must suck.

I’m still missing Singstar icon/screenshot uninstaller and at least answer to our complaints.

spagetti69 6 February, 2013 @ 3:16 pm   20

Any chance of Resident Evil 2 for Vita?

Thanks.

solarwind12 6 February, 2013 @ 3:16 pm   21

Crazy devs/publishers. BLoPS And Dead Space3, are 59.99 DOLLARS in USA psn (xbla ?.) Yet there asking, sorry telling you (apparently!) to set the price in POUNDS. Why are they allowed to do this stuff. and it isn’t that US pays added tax. That still wouldn’t justify That price, and most US states pay either No added tqx, or a neglible amount. Really maddens me that, A. the publishers demand this Dollar equals Pound conversion, and B. that scee allow them to, in fact point B is much, much worse. Your a business, why then do you allow another entity to give you a Bad name.?

supersmith2500 6 February, 2013 @ 3:17 pm   22

£59.99 for Black Ops II? Pathetic move from Activision. No in fact Acti are a complete joke now. Why does digital titles have to be that dear price? Btw, trying out F1 Race Stars for sure. Also, images??

pinkplaybunny 6 February, 2013 @ 3:18 pm   23

Jawad

WATARIGARASU_ 6 February, 2013 @ 3:21 pm   30

Yeah Dead Space 3 but… what??!!!€69.99??? Hummm ok…

I find Bentley’s Hack Pack insulting in all honesty.

US store get’s the new Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and we get Bentley’s arcade mini-game? Ugh.. why’d I even get my hopes up.

Well done on the PS+ for this month though, I’m looking forward to playing Sleeping Dogs.

SERGEANT-Q6R 6 February, 2013 @ 3:22 pm   32

manutreble 6 February, 2013 @ 3:23 pm   33

F1 race stars & sleeping dogs for me

I’ve bought all addon tables for Pinball Arcade so far, but as with the poster above, I’m confused about what all the different versions are?

A better explanation please, for the various different Twilight zone addons?

Thanks, also for Sleeping Dogs and F1 Race Stars on Plus.

supersmith2500 6 February, 2013 @ 3:24 pm   35

any chance of getting soviet strike & nuclear strike on the ps vita please.

Great Plus update and finally we get the long awaited demo of Ragnarok Oddyssey.

There are a couple of price errors in the Vita Sale. Ridge Racer and SfXT have not the Plus discount, and Reality Fighters has not the regular discount. Can you please look if this can be corrected?

Thank you

@Jawad
Hi Jawad i recently bought Hitman Absolution and found that it came with a 1 months subscription for PS+, when i type the code it says that its not valid. is this because im already a subscriber? if so then it would be advisable to mention that on the subscription card.
please reply

looks like a good update, but im a bit sad that sleeping dogs is not available in germany. its not your fault tho, i guess there were problems with the age restrictions here.

im looking forward to see which game we will get here! :)
