Access Episode 37

Like Christmas, the British summer, and England’s chances in major football tournaments, E3 stormed towards us in a maelstrom of hype before whizzing by in three days and leaving us all pining for next time. Until now, that is, as Access TV Episode 37 hits YouTube today with a mammoth look back over the show’s highlights.

Things start big with a recap of the pre-E3 press conferences, with EA, Ubisoft and PlayStation all flashing their blockbuster garters ready for the year ahead. Among the top games were Assassin’s Creed III, Tomb Raider, Watch Dogs, Dead Space 3, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and of course The Last of Us and Beyond.

There’s also coverage from the show floor as Access E3 presenter Joe Merrick guides us through the best from the PlayStation booth, before navigating the crowds for a look at the best E3 had to offer.

Finally there’s a behind-closed-doors look at the PlayStation media room, where innovative titles like Unfinished Swan were being shown off alongside PS3 big hitters The Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls. Amazing. Same time next year, yeah?
