Hello again! Mr. Stott will be back on blog duty next week, until then here is what we have for you today.
Did you like the first two volumes of Atomic Robo? If so you’re in luck – Volume 3 starts this week. We’re transported back to the roaring 20s’ New York, where a chilling message from the past comes to disturb Atomic Robo’s quiet night in… There’ll be some work to do!
Down in Washington, DC, it’s another dark force that threatens the world as we know it… The mysterious Thrum is at centre stage in the new IDW series Garters and Ghouls. And, yes, it is based on the game we all know and love! Make sure you give this one a try.
The Immortal Iron Fist also returns this week. Bei Bang-Wen is back from what looked like a certain death – well, someone had to honour that Immortal title after all! The beautifully rendered tales continue…
Now, did someone say they wanted more Transformers Spotlight? Because that’s what we have this week – focusing on the mighty Prowl… Read this and see Prowl from a whole new perspective.
Last but not least, we thought we would highlight the Flying Friar, the new Markosia graphic novel. This lengthy tale blends in superheroes, the religious 17th century, and a true story with a few twists… That’s a one-off. Featuring script extracts, sketches and location reports.

Well, fingers crossed – we’d love to!

If your taking comments, would there be any chance at all of the manga of Ghost in the Shell coming on the store? I think there’s great opportunity in bringing Manga, foreign and lesser known works to the store. I think that is the huge 1 up which digital has on physical delivery.
Having said that, my weekly injection of 2000AD is there so in my eyes, this is a just fine update
Posted on 12 May, 2010 at 5:29 pm by Pauline Martyn
That’s our plan, manga (and Ghost in the Shell) would be great for the comic store… Personally I’m running out of shelves for my physical books so I’m all for it.
Enjoy the Progs in the meantime!

so is dc publishing in the digital comics store, or is it still marvel and a few others?
coz dc’s my favourite comics publisher, which ties with DC =P
Posted on 12 May, 2010 at 5:34 pm by Pauline Martyn
DC is not in our store at the minute, I’m afraid – but as we always say we would love to welcome them on board!
Apart from Marvel there are quite a few other ones though, have a look in the Publishers section of the store for the full list.

not a big selection this week, but some decent titles, just sonic for me this week though.
and though i’m currently without a working ps3 lett me add one xp to the ps3 version pool
seriously though, send somebody to dc to get their comics on the store.
might i suggest the hulk, the thing or maybe judge dredd.
if none of them get the job done, archie will be a last resort
Posted on 13 May, 2010 at 2:16 pm by Pauline Martyn
Glad you’re still enjoying Sonic.
As for Hulk comics, we have loads in the store at the minute (Marvel): vintage Hulk (1962!), the 1999 Hulk series, and the great World War Hulk run.
We also have a couple Judge Dredd (that’s 2000AD): Mandroid and Total War.
Take your pick.

Strange to see such a small update, but thats just because they have been so big over the past few months. Still some great content though with the weekly 2000AD Prog, Atomic Robo and The Lexian Chronicles. Will have to check out The Flying Friar as well. Have abit of a backlog to get through to.
Any updates on when we will be seeing more Neozoic on the store?
Posted on 13 May, 2010 at 2:17 pm by Pauline Martyn
Thank you for the kind words!
No update on Neozoic, there is quite a lot of demand though so I’ll mention it!
