Black Ops will get most sales, but it defo wont be the best game this fall,
It’ll have a quick rushed SP and the MP will be great, but abused by 8 year olds.
Seeing as LBP 2 has been delayed, its out.
This year, my moneys on Brotherhood for best fall game, but Red Dead for Game Of The Year.

GT5 should remain a comfortable PS3 exclusive leader till after Christmas.
The amount of people I hear that will buy a PS3 just for this game is growing every day.
Black ops will sell a bundle though and will most likely rule by Christmas, but it will be interesting to see what the ratio of PS3 is in there. It should be more the last year with MW2.

James, could you “invite” BioWare on the Blog to talk about Mass Effect 2: exclusives contents, how will work without Mass Effect 1 and other things about this version?
The game will be out on January and we don’t know anything.
Or maybe there are some plans about this in the near future?

GT5 will probably be a sales giant but it isn’t my sort of game so it more than likely won’t be on my shopping list. Same for Black Ops…It will sell millions, but as with MW2 i will not be among those millions.
New Vegas, however, is definitely on my shopping list. Apart from that i am struggling to think of anything

Dear SCEE,
please put PROPER effort into marketing GT5. None of that derivative “start the game” stuff. It’s a game that deserves a unique angle.
Thank you.

3d is future deal with it
firmware 3.50 disabling illegal software ( read code of conduct)
Using, making or distributing unauthorized software or hardware
Attempting to hack or reverse engineer any code or equipment
so its not fail they call illegal !
playstation plus a trap ? no you dony have to take it! so own choice
what you want a system you asks for? i dont know, but if you bought the ps3, you know what you bought right? and why buy it if its not what you asked?
your solution xbox360? ofc its the most hacked console out ofc you want that thats the system you asked for downloading games becuase your a poor person who cant buy games so need to download them.
guess what? we like you having a xbox360 so you can buzz of here and go flame on the xbox forum

Why is there no Special Edition GT5 console announced like the blue one in Japan? Does SCEE not think they would sell or are they just being typically oblivious?
Oh and please announce some decent exclusive games for PSN. Think the last one was Joe Danger way back in June. I just read Hydrophobia and Supermeatboy are not coming to PS3 and PSN is looking more and more disappointing. Golf clap for Sony.

“Which blockbuster do you think will be standing tall at Christmas, or do you have your eye on some plucky contender that could sneak up and take the laurels?” ~ James
I think any game developers who believe they can take the “laurels” away from Polyphony Digital at the end of this year are slightly delusional. A lot of people are purchasing PS3s (or getting them from Santa) just for GT5, and I’m unaware of that happening on such a large scale (or at all) for any other game.
I agree with some of the other comments regarding GT5 promotion, the lame “the game is just the start” ads really aren’t good enough for GT5, the game definitely deserves something special.

Hi James,
Is there any plans on bring Playstation share to the EU blog?
I think it is needed as all the different European countries want to see different things on the blog and new PS3 features.
It is a little unfair the US fans get to contribute for the improvement on the Playstation brand and we can’t contribute our input. Also what the US might want possible won’t be as excepted in European.
I know it seems to not be a good idea and there is a lot of anger pent up over the years that might boil over but it would be beneficial in the long run.
