That’s a wrap for gamescom 2011 – thanks Cologne! I’ve really enjoyed this year’s show and have met up with some great industry friends and seen some really impressive games. I reckon the biggest queue on the show floor was for the PS Vita hands-on area, although the Uncharted 3 and Resistance 3 booth pushed it pretty close. A personal highlight was getting to see Aliens: Colonial Marines for the first time and it is looking more impressive than I could have hoped. The way they have captured the atmosphere of the movies is spot-on and the animation of the Aliens makes my skin crawl, in a good way. I hope you enjoyed the content because there’s definitely more to come next week. In the meantime, thanks to all of you who joined us to watch the live stream – I’m still pulling the numbers together but they’re already pleasing – and have great weekends, whatever you’re playing.

I’ll ask if it’s happening but I think this comes under SCE Japan’s guidance. Streaming a conference like that in acceptable quality is a big job and it costs a lot of money, so it will depend on how much we are actually showing there.

It was ok. Could of done with a new PS3 never before seen Exclusive game tho(yes i know i am being spoilt)

+ ‘Uncharted 3′ looked ‘AMAZING’! ! !
+ The price cut was cool but then SONY had to spoil the week by saying Cross game chat is not possible on the PS3. Everyone at SONY does hard work this week then someone at SONY puts their foot in it & spoils the week of good news? Come on SONY you know there are haters out there . Stop making their lives easy.
p.s i couldn’t care less about Cross game chat anyway(i wouldn’t mind PS2 playback back on a PS3 tho, Oooops i said it again…)

There is so much awesomeness coming to the PS3.
Last Guardian, Shadow of the Colossus, ICO, Journey, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, Mass Effect 3, etc…
I also love stuff like Super Stardust HD, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX, Limbo, Flower, Galaga Legions DX, etc…..
But I REALLY WANT to see a super duper edition of “Gyruss”. Please can’t someone make “Gyruss Legions” or something. Would be amazing! Just love Gyruss, the sounds and the music, absolutely amazing stuff

Here is some great ideas for PS2 remastered games:
1. Mortal Kombat collection – MK Deadly Alliance, MK Deception, MK Armageddon, MK Shaolin Monks
2. Devil may Cry collection – DMC1, DMC2, DM3 Special Edition
3. Final Fantasy collection – Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy XII
End Here is some great ideas for PSone remastered games:
1.Resident Evil classic collection - RE1 Director’s Cut, RE2 DualShock, RE3 greatest hits, RE Survivor
2.Mortal Kombat classic collection – MK Trilogy, MK3, MK Sub-Zero, MK4, MK Special Force. And maybe some packs of 5 PSone games… end (They should be $30 to $40 each)

What a stupid comment. Why even post anything like that. You can’t compare the VITA to the PS3. VITA is a handheld console with less specs, but what is going to be released for it, handheld console wise is great imo.
Fair enough though, you have alot to learn but you’re still a young 17 year old, as you don’t come across as a 17 year old, but more of a 13 year old.
You also don’t have to reply to everyones comment either NOT HATING!!

I’m not saying its a bad thing your clearly passionate about gaming which to an extent everybody is who comes on this blog.
