I’m sorry to say it, but in response to the Twitter feed, I don’t think Mr Kebby much enjoyed the ‘Heads Up’ Game Store Update 28th July 2010…
If it’s consolation, I did

Kingdom Hearts BBS hasn’t been confirmed yet for PSP Go…I’m dissapointed with its post.
Someone know who is in charge of European PS+ and why doesn’t get as much content and the US one?

Quite an eventful week, next week the Plus team and Mike are going to have a lot of comments, about the Plus system compared to the US’s.
Also credit to Mike for being a trooper for replying to so many posters, that ratio of comments vs replies must of been high.

Yes, he’s a trooper and a sport.

What’s happening with the post about the Blog improvements? Thought it was scheduled for this week?
Posted on 2 August, 2010 at 9:32 am by James Gallagher
The improvements got delayed – last minute technical stuff. I might as well just tell you here that we’re adding the facebook like functions that came to eu.playstation.com last week and we’re trying to add a PlayStation Plus symbol next to the avatars of subscribers.

as i sit here across the pond from europe, i wonder if i may be able to reach your sense of pride toward the store personnel in san diego. they have become extremely slothful, and disreguarding toward the american public. i have watched and waited for them to atleast show some care toward the community, to no avail. my request is a simple one, because you work for the same company i as well as many other yanks would greatly appreciate a few responses from our store staff. i mean for the last 2 weeks for instance 300+ store update comments/questions, and not a single response. to us here it shows a total lack of care for the people that actually pay their wages. something has got to be done, because we are becoming increasingly annoyed at those with the power to become a part of the community they work for.

A nice week.
I’ll be getting the Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep PSP package… as I’m getting a PSP for that game. >.>
I’m also looking forward to the Mafia 2 demo soon as well as the release of Scott Pilgrim, Fallout: New Vegas, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, LittleBigPlanet 2, Force Unleashed 2 and Enslaved.
So yeah… not much.

@killzonexx: the ps3 won’t even start. i can only acces the safe mode. but from there the system update won’t work. it stucks at 80% and then nothing. so time for sony to make a 3.42 fix update. i will not send it back and pay 150 euro to get a second hand ps3.

@Paulus-NL
There are articles like “Sony Debunk 3.41 HDD Issues” and “PS3 HDD problems not firmware’s fault – Sony” on N4G so a fix is not likely.
But on computerandvideogames.com Sony said to do try this:
“We ask that you update the previous HDD first to see if the update will go through. Then update from the thumb drive that is formatted in FAT 32 and has the 3.41 update downloaded.”

@paulus mmmm weird i never used safe mode TBH. but can you access your harddrive? mabey a idea to copy all your save games and things you want to a external HDD. (must be FAT32) then HDD format. and manual download latest patch from playstation website, putting it on a fat 32 HDD device and reinstall the patch.
if that works try it otherwise call playstation support europe explain your problem if it happend after the patch they are responsible for it
and they MUST fix it, our atleast giving you information if a patch will be here soon.
otherwise i suggest you buy 2,5” SATA HDD (type 5400 RPM, 9,5 mm hoog 250 gig
but thats the last option you can try, playstation must fix this its there responsibility.

@lucreto if the playstation was working before the patch and after the patch it crashes its the fault of the patch / playstation
it would be stupid after every update people must reinstall updates trough thumb drives.

i can’t update a previous hdd cause the original 60GB was inside the ps3 during the update install fail error. i already got my savegames. i made a backup of them on an external HDD. i do this always before a update. isn’t the first time my ps3 is killed
when i try to insert a new hdd 500gb i get the same ^$*#*# error after 80%. so somthing is worng with this update. and i am not the only one: http://boardsus.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-3-Updates/bd-p/ps3updat es

@Naths90: nope, you are not alone, the RSS Feed has been dead for about a week. Feedburner says it does not validate. The Blog Team should really look into that some time
